Following Things to Be Communicated to all the Staff and Workers:

1 Site layout plan,


2 Assembly Points
3 Emergency exit point and escape route,
4 Client ERT team.
5 List of essential telephone numbers,
6 List of key persons with their addresses and telephone numbers,

Communication System:

• Workers: In case of emergency fire it is worker’s responsibility to inform site supervisor and safety
officer and also inform to the workers to all are close.

• Site Supervisor: it is supervisor responsibility while emergency fire to inform site project in
charge a well as all the workers who are working at site have to be taken to the nearest assembly
point.

• Safety officer: On the other hand it is safety officer responsibility to inform about fire to the fire
department and first aid center at the same time count the workers.

• Project in charge: It is project in charge responsibility to inform client execution team and tell to
the workers they con not go anywhere until the rescue team tells.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURE:
• Don’t panic & Stop the work.
• Disconnect all electrical equipment if any.
• If fire is small then try to attend to extinguish it by suitable available fire extinguisher otherwise
leave it.
• Inform to all workers by whistle or calling.
• Don’t run but walk fast in safe walkway.
• Head count will start in assembly point that all workers reached or somebody left at work place.
• Re-assemble at the Assembly Point so that checks are carried out to ensure that everybody has
evacuated.
• Don’t leave assembly point until you get green signal from rescue team.

Control Measures:

• Implementing fire safety protocols such as regular inspections, maintenance of fire detection and
suppression systems, and proper storage of flammable materials.
• Educating the community about fire safety practices and regulations.
• Developing and practicing emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and
communication protocols.
• Conducting regular fire drills to ensure that residents and employees know how to respond in the
event of a fire.
• Equipping firefighters with appropriate training, gear, and resources.
• Promptly detecting and reporting fires to emergency services.
• Deploying firefighters and equipment to contain and extinguish the fire.
• Evacuating affected areas and providing medical assistance to those in need.
• Assessing the damage caused by the fire and implementing measures to restore affected areas.
• Providing support to affected individuals and businesses, including temporary housing and
financial assistance.
