A. Cinematography
When it comes to the cinematography of the movie "A Lab Story", I can say that it
mainly used natural lighting for filming, which made it seem more real, like how the
characters live committed to using their knowledge and abilities to positively impact their
communities and the world around them. I think the film came out very simple-looking,
which was, of course, expected considering the fact that it is an independent movie.
Secondly, the film utilized an outdoor setting primarily throughout the duration of the
movie. Given that the film's focus was on agriculture and it was set in a province, scenic
shots of landscape were prominent.
B. Sound/Voice Quality
Again, considering that it was an indie film, the audio quality was different compared to
those mainstream movies produced by major studios. But that does not mean that the
quality was terrible at all, it just had a distinct touch to it, but all in all, it was clear and
did not negatively impact the movie. Moreover, the soundtrack was perfect and really
enhanced the impact of the film.
D. Overall Production
Regarding the overall production of the film, it was satisfactory. Although the plot was
predictable, the way that they executed it was overall masterful. As the movie
progressed, the audience became more hooked on to the story and it perfectly captured
the emotions and experiences of the students and teachers who were the viewers.
Despite the predictable plot, the characters were so well-developed and their struggles
were so relatable that we, the audience, became deeply invested in their journeys.
