Objectives of Buhiire Family 29th December Re-Union aka BF2912

1. Strengthening family bonds: The primary objective of the BF 2912 family reunion is to bring
family members together to strengthen their connections, promote a sense of belonging, and foster
positive relationships among family members and relatives.
2. Creating lasting memories: To provide an opportunity for family members to create lasting
memories through shared experiences, activities, and interactions. These memories can help
strengthen the family's identity and provide a foundation for future relationships.
3. Celebrating milestones: To serve as a platform to celebrate important milestones such as weddings,
anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, and other significant events in the lives of family members.
4. Passing on family traditions and history: An occasion for older generations to pass on family
traditions, stories, and history to younger family members, preserving the family's heritage and
creating a sense of continuity across generations.
5. Providing support and connection: An opportunity for family members to provide support to one
another, particularly during challenging times, and to reconnect with relatives they may not have seen

ensure that the event meets the needs and expectations of all family members involved. For example,
Under Objective 3 – Save for birthdays that are celebrated monthly, let’s celebrate all important
milestones during the year, to wit, weddings/introductions/kuhingiras during the year, graduations,
university admissions, marriage anniversaries, etc.
Under Objective 4- An opportunity for the head of the family to present a paper on our family history
Under Objective 6 – An opportunity for BFL to make a presentation to members on company
activities and investment opportunities.
Under Objective 8 – An opportunity for truth and reconciliation regarding what did not go well during
the year with respect to lack of or poor communication.
