Project Title
Final major project (Music/sport magazine)
Section 1: Rationale
(approx. 100 words)
Fundamentally I think my performance in the course has improved throughout each brief,
since during each project I’m learning new skills and also advancing in these skills within the
topics. Additionally overall I think my adobe knowledge and understanding has enhanced my
creativity when it comes to developing ideas.
Furthermore I think my strongest point is the research part of the briefs, as I always want to
get a decent understanding on the topic so I can refer back to my research for help, which
inevitably lead to me gaining more knowledge on the chosen topic.
After college I plan on looking at going to university or go straight into work, additionally I
would want to do something based around marketing.
Section 2: Project
Concept
For the FMP my idea is a magazine based on music and sport, I am combining these two
(approx. 200 words) topics as I feel music is a very important factor within the world of sport. I decided on this
idea because I feel as though it resonates with modern society due to sport being a loved
industry worldwide, essentially making the magazine targeted to anyone.
Additionally I had another idea on doing research about healthcare as the people within this
industry are underappreciated, which is why I would’ve written about their challenges in the
medical field and how they overcome it. Although however I liked this idea I feel that I’m
better suited to the magazine task as its more catered to my interests.
Due to my idea being a magazine I’m going to need at least sixteen pages, for the music
section I’m going to involve a few artists and also include their journey on becoming a
musician, and difficulties they faced throughout their career. In addition for the sport side of
things I’ll be including the ins and outs of sport, also the training the athletes endure.

Section 3: Evaluation
(approx. 50 words)
During this project I will be evaluating and reflecting on my work, I will be doing this by
getting peer feedback to get a second opinion and a different perspective to give me more
knowledge on how to improve my work, which will be beneficial for my project. Additionally
ill be doing surveys as it gets me a wider range of answers from a variety of different people
helping me with ideas and what I should incorporate into my magazine.
