Dear Damilola,

CONSULTANT CONTRACT
This is to inform you that there is a variation on your ONE MONTH CONSULTANT
CONTRACT with Point Engineering Limited as a PIPING DESIGNER.

The contract net Lumpsum price of NGN 500,000.00 payable one off
monthly subject to review progress has been superseded by the net
lumpsum of NGN 800,000.00 due to an additional net lumpsum of NGN
300,000.00

The Contract is still subject to the underlisted terms


• Support the project entirely not limited to 2D and isometrics generation.
• Contract extension at a cost will happen only when the delays is from
CNL, as such, Point Engineering shall lay claims for variation to that effect
and same cost shall be transferred to all the discipline engineers affected.
• The lumpsum contract price is exclusive of 10% tax deduction.
• You shall be physically/remotely present during weekly internal meetings
and monthly progress review meeting with client if required.
• You shall also attend any physical/remote meetings set up with due notice.
• He shall attend all the design review stages with client if required.

3) Reporting
You will report directly to the PIPING LEAD or his assignee.

4) Effective Date of Variation


9th November,2023.

5) Working Hours
Working hours will be thirty (40) per week as follows:

• Work - 8am to 5pm.

These are, however, subject to change. As a senior member of staff,


you will be expected to work beyond ordinary hours if the work occasionally
demands it.

6) Place of Work
The base from which the contractor performs his duties under this agreement shall be the
Company Offices in Lagos.
7) Conflicts of Interest
The contractor is restricted not to do any other work with any other Company on a
Chevron job within the contract period.

Violation of this condition entitles the employer to terminate this Contract with immediate
effect but shall be without prejudice to the employer’s performance of this contract and
without prejudice to the employer’s right to claim the full sum in damages.

8) Secrecy
During the term of the contract and after its termination, the contractor shall refrain from
discussing any information to third parties about the Company’s business without prior
written consent. Contractor is required to sign a secrecy declaration.

9) Patents and Intellectual Property


The contractor indemnifies the employer from all liabilities, garnishee orders, court
procedures and cost incurred by any violation of patent rights claimed by Clients from
the Company, imposed by it on the Company or demanded from it. The Company will
retain the patent rights on all the work executed by the contractor during the
employment.

10) Settlement of Disputes


Any disputes are to be settled amicably by the parties. If parties fail to reach an amicable
resolution within three months, the dispute will be brought up for arbitration subject to its
rules of arbitration of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The arbitrator will pass a verdict to
settle the dispute in a fair and equitable manner.

Please signify your acceptance of this variation and above terms and conditions by signing the
section below and returning one original copy to the employer.
