I. Objectives:
✓ Assess their interests in life
✓ Connect the relationship of their interest to their chosen career
✓ Write about their dream profession and job
✓ Write their SMART goal in achieving their dream profession

Opening the class with a prayer

Subject Matter Expert checks the students
The students will answer the smart goal worksheet which will serve as their guide to their
path in achieving their dream profession. Lecture and discussion will follow the activities.

II. Introduction:

What do we mean by the word interest? How about career? Does interest affect our
decision about who we are in the future? Today, we will try to uncover our interest and
understand its connection in our chosen field.

III. Activity 1 SMART Goals

Accomplish the SMART Goals worksheet and share your SMART input to the class.

VI. Assignment

In their journal notebook, let the students prepare a SWOT analysis where they will
explore their own self-perception of their strengths while thinking of their prospective
employers, they might consider to be in the areas they could improve upon.

Introductions:

1. Tell the students to fill in the four areas which pertain to their strengths,

weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

2. Explain what they wrote down does not have to just be about school and their

career.
