EET Managing Meeting
EET Managing Meeting
This activity will assist students to improve their basic understanding and practical ability
of managing a meeting. This activity also address the English proficiency, professional
communication and active participation at workplace.
You are expected to work in teams of not exceeding 15 to a group. The group will be
required to conduct a meeting based on the event organize. Your team is required to record
the proceedings of your meeting. Each member of the group must participate actively
according to their role in the meeting.
Assessment Criteria:
You will be assessed as follows:
i. Agenda &Minutes of Meeting (Group) – 10%
ii. Role in the meeting (Individual) – 20%

II. ROLES IN MEETING (20 MARKS)
Participation of each member in the group will be observed by module lecturer to evaluate
the achievement of student meeting skills. Criteria of the evaluation is listed below:
a) Participated actively (5 MARKS)
b) Provide relevant discussion about your role (5 MARKS)
c) Provide constructive contribution on other roles / topics in agenda (5 MARKS)
d) Language proficiency (5 MARKS)
The structure of committees and roles within committees are defined below. It may vary
according to the purpose of the operation.
