Job Title: Senior Content Specialist

As a Senior Content Specialist in the Publications Team you will be accountable for the proactive creation and
curation of database records pertaining to the publications and publishers of academic literature which are of
potential relevance to Cortellis products including the Web of Science. You will also analyze and resolve possible
issues with data integrity and completeness, which will at times require you to work with internal technology teams
and our external publishing partners and vendors. You will be an individual contributor within a small but global
team, part of Clarivate’s wider Content group.

Roles and Responsibilities:


 Curation and resolution of data exceptions
 Responding to, and analysis of, customer queries
 Vendor and budget management for content acquisition
 Drive initiatives to improve data completeness and availability
 Actively contribute to strategic projects
 Achieve production volume and quality targets
 Take responsibility for identifying training and developmental needs on an ongoing basis

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:


 5+ years of experience in the academic publishing industry with a robust understanding of publishing models and
processes
 Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with vendors and publishers
 Organized and capable of handling multiple priorities
 Team player, flexible, analytical, proactive and results oriented
 Computer literate, preferably with some database experience
 Problem identification and solving skills

Desirable skills
 Knowledge of publisher and vendor management tools
 Experience with journal/academic publishing workflow
 Knowledge of NetSuite

Qualifications
 Master’s (Library science/management preferred)

 SQL and data management
