PRODUCT SPECIFIC CLEAR LISTS

The CLEAR program documentation consists of

• 1 general document describing the main elements of the CLEAR program incl. the
contract document
• 4 main product category-specific CLEAR lists plus
• 2 additional lists with more stringent requirements for children´s, electric and electronic
products.

This CLEAR global restricted substances list for Swarovski Crystal Business (hereafter called CLEAR
list) is valid for one defined product or industry category only.

It is to be read and understood in addition to all requirements mentioned in the main guideline
CLEAR POLICY DECLARATION and serves as more specific requirements on restrictions and
prohibitions of substances in products from Swarovski for its defined product category.

Depending on the product’s characteristics and requirements from Swarovski, it is possible that
multiple CLEAR lists are to be applied to one specific product or product group. For example, crystals
from Swarovski are typically developed to fulfil compliance requirements from several industry
segments at the same time. In such event and if the same restricted substance would require multiple
and also different threshold limits, the strictest has to be applied.

The applicable CLEAR list(s) form(s) an integral part of the product specification you receive from
Swarovski. Either in this product specification or within the Purchase Order you receive you will find
the CLEAR list(s) to use for each material or part delivered. In the event that such information is
missing please contact Swarovski.

All columns within our CLEAR lists are self-explanatory. CLEAR limits apply to homogenous single
parts of a product. Additional information can be found in the TERMS AND DEFINITIONS section
within the general CLEAR CPD document.
