INSTRUCTIONS
1. Change of Examination Centre is not allowed by AIOU, under normal conditions. However, in hardship cases change of
Examinations Centre can be allowed once throughout a program, subject to production of the following valid documentary
proof:
i. Transfer/Posting/Appointment Order (of student/father/husband).
ii. Nikah Nama (for female students only), along with copies of CNICs of both husband and wife, duly attested by a
Gazetted Officer (not below scale 17, with the name and designation appearing on the stamp), shall be accepted
only if marriage occurred during the current semester before the exams.
iii. If the student or his/her father/husband changes the place of business or shifts to another station during the current
semester before commencement of final examinations, a rental agreement along with a Residential Certificate from
Gazetted Officer (not below scale 17, with name and designation appearing on stamp) is required to be attached.
iv. In case of health reasons, the student is required to attach a medical certificate duly signed by the registered
medical practitioner from a government or private hospital.
2. Change of Examination Centre will only be allowed where Question Papers of that program/course is available. No special
arrangement will be made.
3. Prescribed Fee (Rs. 1,000/-) for change of Examination Centre be deposited. (in case of incomplete request, fee will not be
refundable).
4. Request for change of Examination Centre (along with required documents/fee) be submitted as per the following schedule:

5. University reserves the right to approve/reject any application for change of Examination Centre without assigning any
reason.
6. No request for a change of center will be considered other than the reasons mentioned at (i) to (iv) above.

NOTE: No exam center change request will be considered through any medium except the Service Request received via CMS
PORTAL from semester spring 2024 and onwards.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED WITH APPLICATION:
i. Relevant Reason (as mentioned Sr. i to iv)
ii. Attested copy of CNIC
iii. Paid fee receipt of Rs.1,000/-
iv. Admit Card/Roll number slip.
