 Overview of Insite
• Insite is a convenient and simple telematics system launched in 2018.
• This system is available 24 hours a day, all year round and can be viewed on laptops and mobile devices through
internet.
• Insite is Telematics in models such as EX70,130,200,210,215,Shinrai and TL340.
• There are around 27,000 machines in Insite as of today.

IV. Login process and brief of all menu-
User can either go to tata hitachi official webpage and click on InSite login or use below given Insite Webpage
link for accessing Insite web page.

Use the ID and Password for login to webpage
Select the account based on requirement

Insite landing page has 6 Menu
1. Dashboard- User can view the short summary of the fleet in graphical view
2. Fleet –User can view the information about the feet serial number, model,
Last reported date, status, product family , customer name, location
information etc
3. Utilization- User can view the daily operation information of the fleet
4. Asset operation- User can view the day wise hour wise operation data of the
fleet
5. Location-User can view the geographical distribution of the fleet.
6. Health- User can view the Fault codes generated from machine in Insite
7. Maintenance- User can view the maintenance status of the fleet.
8. Administration- User can add\delete users, set notifications, set reports,
create group and geofence
Single machine information browsing and downloading the Data
Copy and paste the machine serial number in search option as shown
1.Single asset Dashboard-Machine summary available such as- HMR, Current location, Last reported time, Asset
condition, fuel level, customer name, dealer name, utilization graph, fault codes, Notifications , maintenance
details of the machine in dashboard page.

2.Single asset Utilization-Excavator\Backhoe loader\monthly report downloading
2a. Monthly report downloading

Click here for

downloading the
monthly report.
 After clicking on
monthly report,
report will get
downloaded in PDF
format .
2b. Excavator \Backhoe loader report downloading

Select the required

date range and click
on Excavator report.

Excavator and Backhoe report gives the information of machine idle, Working, Front and Swing time, travel hour, P mode,
E mode, auto idle, Breaker hours.
2c. Utilization report downloading

Select the date range

Select email, then
click on .csv
 Input the details such as report
name, Report frequency, end
date, recipient email ID, email
subject , email content and then
click on save.
3.Single asset- Operation

Gives the Engine start and end

time, hour wise for the given set
of dates.

This report can be exported with

the Export report option

Gives the track of Machine for

the given set of date.

This report can be exported with

for the given set of date.

1. Dashboard- User can view the short summary of the fleet in graphical view

2a.Fleet summary sample report

Fleet summary report gives information such as Asset number, model, last reported date, asset status, Hour meter, Fuel
level, Dealer, customer name, customer code etc. information
2b.Utilization- User can view the daily utilization of the fleet

User can select the required date

range.

Click on the balloon to get the hour wise

operation data on a selected date
4. Location-User can view the geographical distribution of the fleet.

Apply Filters as per requirement to get the

geographical distribution of the machines
5.Health- User can view the Fault codes generated from machine in Insite

This report can be exported with

the Export report option .
6.Maintenance- User can view the maintenance status of the fleet.

This report can be exported with

the Export report option .
7. Administration- User can add\delete users, set notifications, set reports, create group
and geofence
V. First time login procedure using
verification link
 When dealer is doing D-C(Dealer to Customer)
registration, Activation link goes to customer email
ID.
Customer have to access the link and create the
Password to login to insite system

procedure

Insite application is recently launched for Android and iOS devices.

1. Open Play store app in your mobile 2. Type Insite in search bar
3. Select Tata Hitachi InSite app 4. Click on Install
5. Observe installation 6. Once installation is completed,
click on open
7. Click on Accept All Cookies 8.Input login ID( Registered email ID)
 10. Insite page will open. Now select
9. Put the Password and click on Sign in the account by clicking on select
option
11. Click on Tata Hitachi Corporate Office, 12. Now insite landing page will
then click on All Accounts appear.

Reset Password
Go to Login page and enter the registered email ID

Click on Forgot Password.
Enter the Registered email ID and click on “Send Code”
Email with the Verification code will be sent from no-reply@account.trimble.com. Note
the verification code
Enter the verification code and click on “Submit”
Set the New password and click on submit
