vital value in processing the land that farmers need to use.

They often use Geographic Information System (GIS) for developing ranking systems that
evaluate the land.

The systems provide information based on factors like: soil conditions; drainage and slope
conditions and soil pit nutrient.

Another technology used by farmers is the Global Positioning System (GPS) based technology that also
help to monitoring irrigation; field mapping; soil sampling and tractor guidance.
