Subject: Charity work at an old folks' home

Hi,

How are you? It's been ages since I last heard from you. Oh! Helping out at an old folks'
home is a fantastic idea. Yes, I would love to come with you. We can assist them with
cleaning or cooking food because I believe they may need a lot of help with that.

In my opinion, some activities we can do include painting and crafting with them. I'm sure
they will love it, and it can also help cheer them up! I think our other group of friends should
come too. If we bring more people, the work can be done in minutes. That's all for now.

I'll see you soon.

Question 2

Healthy Lifestyle
By: Sara Chwe and Jake

What is a healthy lifestyle? A healthy lifestyle is a way of living that lowers the risk
of being seriously ill or dying early. Nowadays, people are no longer interested in caring for
their health. Most of them are likely to eat fast food rather than healthy food, whether they
are children or adults. It is not surprising that many people easily get diseases even at a young
age.

There are several ways to stay healthy. For example, eating a nutritious meal that
contains balanced protein, carbohydrates, fat, and energy. We also need to exercise at least
twice a week to release toxins from our bodies and stay fit. Moreover, we should drink at
least eight glasses of water a day to stay hydrated. Getting enough sleep is also crucial for us.

The benefits of practicing a healthy lifestyle are that it can boost our mood, prevent us
from feeling lazy and tired in our daily lives, improve our mental and physical health, and
help prevent diseases and health issues that are not good for us.
In my opinion, schools can encourage students to practice a healthy lifestyle by
involving pupils and parents in food policy and practices within the school. They can enable
them to contribute to healthy eating and act on their feedback. Additionally, schools can
provide parents with information on healthy food choices and active living.

Question 3

FIGHT CLUB MOVIE REVIEW

One film that I recently watched and found to be quite engaging was Fight Club. Fight
Club is a 1999 American film directed by David Fincher. It is also based on the 1996 novel of
the same name by Chuck Palahniuk. The film stars well-known actors such as Brad Pitt,
Edward Norton, and Helena Bonham Carter. It was ranked as one of the most controversial
and talked-about films of the 1990s.

The plot involves an unnamed narrator suffering from insomnia, who is discontented
with his life until he meets a soap maker named Tyler Durden, with whom he forms a
friendship. Both men start a fight club, and the narrator becomes involved in a relationship
with a woman named Marla Singer. However, everything is not what it seems, as the narrator
finds out that the group is out of control. After a major revelation, he realizes there is only
one way out.

My opinion about this mind-blowing film is that even though the main character has
characteristics of misogyny and fascism, it still portrays the character very well. The
cinematography is excellent, and the plot twist also takes you to another realm.

I felt emotionally connected to the characters. Fight Club is a metaphor for the need to
push through the walls we put around ourselves and just go for it, so we can finally
experience the pain.

I would 100% recommend Fight Club, as the film has a big impact on how I view life.
The twist in the plot will keep you wondering what the ending will be.
