Rules for the COMPETITON
1. Only Final Year students of any MSBTE affiliated and Autonomous
Polytechnics are allowed. Participants must carry valid ID card issued by
their institute for current academic year.
2. There should be one team of two members from each participating
institute.
3. There are no registration fees for the Competition.
4. Soft copy of the papers should be sent on or before 24th January 2024
on cedept@tpoly.in
5. Intimation of selected papers shall be done on 26th January 2024 through
E-mail only.
6. The selected teams will be invited to give a Power-Point presentation on
their topic for maximum of 10 minutes.

NOTE:
Tea and Lunch for the Participants will be provided during the event.
TA/DA will be paid to participants as per MSBTE norms.
Traveling expenses limited to S.T. bus fare (Excluding A.C. OR LUXURY
BUSES) or Railway Sleeper class fare will be paid to the Students, Lady
Staff/parent accompanying the girl student.
Local conveyance of Rs. 50/- will be paid per participant Student, Lady
Staff/Parent accompanying the student.

TECHNICAL PAPER
PRESENTATION
Paper should be in IEEE format. LINK:-

Reference Paper should contain name and email id of all the authors.
(Maximum 2 authors)
Paper should be of maximum 6 pages.
Submit your full length paper on tantrautsav.tpoly@gmail.com on or before
28th JANUARY, 2024.
Time limit for each group is maximum 8 minutes.

TECHNICAL QUIZ
The decision of moderator will be final.
Electronic Devices are not allowed.
It will be department wise(Computer Group, Mechanical Group, Civil Group,
Electronics Group)
ROUNDS:-
FIRST ROUND:- MCQ Round (30 question for 15 minutes: 30 marks, Top
30 teams will be selected)
SECOND ROUND:- Picture Round (30 seconds with MCQs, Top 15 teams
will be selected)
THIRD ROUND:- Response Rendezvous Round (15 seconds per question,
5 questions will be asked: Correct answer: +5, Wrong answer: -3)
FOURTH ROUND (FINAL):- Rapid Fire Round (60 seconds per team |
Correct answer +5, Wrong answer: -3)

DEBATE
COMPETITION
Debate topics will be general topics.
Marks will be deducted for misbehaviour.
Participants are allowed to keep reference matter.
Marks will be deducted for exceeding the time limit.
Be relevant to the topic.
Only use of english language is allowed.
Format of DEBATE:
Intro speech:- 1 min for each team
Debate round:- 6 mins
Conclusion:-1 min for each team,
Question Answer round.

COMPETITION
Model should depict the technical idea / concept / technology clearly.
Model must be a working model.
Only Hardware model are allowed.
You can also present a chart or PPT for better understanding of model.

COMPETITION
Picture and written contentshould be legible and should depict the technical

CIRCUIT DESIGNING

Circuit Design consists of Two Rounds.


Time Duration will be of 40 minutes for each round.
Smart Gadgets are not allowed.

Software based (Tinker cad/LTspice software/multisim)
Topics will be provided on the spot
Round 2
Hardware based (On Bread board)
Components will be provided.
Circuit diagram will be provided on the spot.

TOP 50% PARTICIPANTS WILL BE SELECTED FOR THE FINAL ROUND.

IF NO ONE IS ABLE TO GIVE THE ACCURATE CODE IN THE FIRST ROUND,
THEN THE JUDGES WILL TAKE THE FINAL DECISION.

15 min Ice Breaker discussion. ( unmoderated )
Chairpersons sets up the first topic and no participant is allowed to make
changes.
Chairpersons Instructions are to be followed at all times , failing to do so will
result in penalties.
Use of foul language is strictly prohibited , if found chairpersons are allowed
to exercise 5 min delegate suspension.
Continuing to do so , will result in straight disqualification from the
committee.
Use of mobile phones are only permitted outside the classroom for 120
seconds at a time.
Only use of English language permitted during Moderated discussions.
Unanimous voting will take place to temporarily suspend committee for
certain period of time.
No leaving debate hall without permission from chairpersons.
No eating during debate.
GAMER’S GAUNTLET
Valorant Edition
5 players per team are mandatory.
2 timeouts available per match for either side.
Any use of foul language on stage / pre-match/post-match/during match
will result in one warning any repetitions of such behavior will result in
straight disqualification from the tournament. ( disqualify )
No peeping in opponent's screens as it violates fair play rules / code of
conduct of the match first case will be provided with a warning , any
repetitions of such behavior will result in straight disqualification from the
tournament.
Participants should be present on venue at least 45 mins prior to the first
match.
Matches will be displayed on a bracket.
Voice Chat will be monitored by officials , any use of derogatory terms
results in straight disqualification from the tournament.
Immoral ways of playing the game will not be tolerated and the team will be
disqualified.
