1.CHOOSE 1 CATEGORY OF ART SUCH AS SYMBOLISM, A
FAUVISM OR EXPESSIONISM AND WHY YOU CHOOSE IT.
I chose expressionism because I have always been captivated to the
raw passion and intensity exhibited by this art form. Expressioni
provides for a deep examination of the human mind, revealing in
turmoil, passion, and vulnerabilityin an engagingand thought-
provoking manner. Expressionist art's dramatic use of color, twist
figures, and exaggerated forms appeal to me on a visceral level,
eliciting strong emotions when I consider the deeper meaning behind
each piece. Expressionism's dramatic and unorthodox nature calls into
question traditional creative rules, stretching limits and generating
discussions about the intricacies of human experience. Overall, I am
drawn to expressionism for its ability to evoke strong emotional
responses and its unmatched ability to express the complexity of the
human condition through art. Overall, I am drawn to expressioni
because of its ability to elicit strong emotionalresponses and
communicate the complexities of life on earth through art.
2. PICK 1 ARTWORK OF YOUR CHOSEN CATEGORY

I chose the very famous painting by a dutch post-impressionist

painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in
history of Western art. Vincent van Gogh, The Starry Night (1889).

3. EXPLAIN THE ARTWORK ON YOUR OWN INTERPRETA

My rendition of Vincent van Gogh's renowned painting "The S
Night." This masterwork is a swirling blend of vibrant blues and yellow
depicting a night sky full with stars over a little settlement. The
cypress tree in the foreground appears to dance with the twinkling stars
overhead, providing a sense of motion and energy in the image.
Gogh's use of thick impasto brushstrokes gives the sky structure
dimension, making it appear to be alive with light and color. The whole
effect is dreamlike and surreal, depicting a moment of cosmic beauty th
is yet tranquil and tumultuous. It's no surprise that this painting h
become one of Van Gogh's most famous works, as it captures the
enchantment and mystery of the night sky in a way that is entire
own.
