BARRIERS TO BE USED AS A TEMPORARY VEHICLE RESTRAINT SYSTEM FOR THE
UPGRADING OF NATIONAL ROUTES 2 AND 3 IN THE EASTERN REGION

RE: COMPLETION OF SUBCONTRACT WORKS

Reference is made to the Conditions of Subcontract for Construction for Building and Engineering Works
Designed by the Employer – First Edition, 2011 [“FIDIC Conditions of Subcontract”].

The Contractor hereby notifies the Subcontractor in accordance with Sub-Clause 10.1 of FIDIC Conditions of
Subcontract, that completion of the Subcontract Works for Work Package W3 MANUFACTURE OF
BARRIERS - 4CE has been achieved by MSMANS PTY LTD on 16 November 2023, following the successful
completion of additional work.

The final Subcontract Amount for this Work Package W3 MANUFACTURE OF BARRIERS - 4CE is
R14,370,609.19 including VAT.

The final Subcontract Amount for Work Package W4 MANUFACTURE OF BARRIERS - 5CE, also
successfully completed by MSMans on 31 January 2023, was R15,068,456.27 including VAT.

This brings the combined total Subcontract Amounts for the two Work Packages W3 MANUFACTURE OF
BARRIERS - 4CE and W4 MANUFACTURE OF BARRIERS - 5CE to R29,439,065.46 including VAT.
