Transportation Plan
1. Assessment of sea/road/air networks leading up to the four sites (including turning radius
and width of roads) and a transportation plan to transport all major and minor equipment
to the plant site.
 Thorough assessments of road conditions, turning radius, and customs procedures
have been conducted to streamline the transportation

HUMLA (SIMIKOT)
1.The product will be loaded into containers at the factory.
2.Container trucks will be transported to Pulan Port, Ali Prefecture,
Xizang
3.Clear customs at Pulan Port and Nepal SILSA Port
4.Nepal SILSA Port to Humla (Simikot)

JUMLA/MUGU/ DOLPA
1. The goods will be loaded into containers at the factory.
2. Container trucks will transport them to Chinese ports for loading.
3. They will undergo container sea freight to Kolkata Port, India.
4. After unloading the container from the ship, it will be transported
by container truck to the Nepalgunj Port.
5. Unpacking will occur after customs clearance at Nepal Port.
6. The goods will be transported via a 6.5-meter truck to the site.
2. Material
Packaging for Remote Transportation on rough roads and Use of RFID
 The manufacturer shall be ensuring that the packaging provides adequate protection
for the materials during transportation, particularly in remote areas with rough roads.
This commitment shall provide selecting robust packaging materials.
 In addition to ensuring robust packaging, the manufacturer shall be integrating
Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for PV Module to enhance the
transportation process.
3. Weather Contingency Plans
 We have studied the seasonal climatic conditions of the site and route to the site, at
the time of transportation regular weather monitoring will be carried out.
 Predefined protocols for weather-related disruptions and alternative transportation
routes shall be taken into consideration if necessary.

4. Local Transportation Partnerships


 A coordinated effort shall be established with the local transportation office to
optimize the transportation of goods to the designated site. Regular communication
and joint planning sessions shall be involved to identify key transportation needs and
challenges.
5. Understanding of Customs and Border Clearance

 All requisite documentation shall be provided for customs and border clearance
processes. Paperwork such as invoices, permits, and certificates shall be furnished
for smooth clearance procedures.
6. Understanding on Local Regulations and Permits
 A thorough research shall be conducted to grasp the local regulations governing
goods transportation, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements. Where
necessary, we will be providing all essential permits and documentation to preempt
any fines or penalties.
7. Security Measures for Transit
 Robust security measures throughout the transit process shall be implemented to
safeguard goods against theft or damage. Employing tracking systems, utilizing
secure packaging, and deploying trained personnel to monitor shipments shall be
considered.
8. Insurances Communication and Coordination
 Clear channels of communication and coordination with insurance providers will be
established to facilitate seamless coverage for our transportation operations.
Regularly updating insurers on shipment details, risks, and any changes in
circumstances that may affect coverage shall be taken into consideration.
9. Site Specific Storage Facilities
 The specific storage requirements of the site will be assessed to determine optimal
storage solutions tailored to its needs. Factors such as space constraints,
environmental conditions, and security considerations shall be taken into
consideration.
10. Fueling and Maintenance Facilities on the way
 Strategic fueling and maintenance plan will be managed along the transportation
route to ensure uninterrupted operations. For backup we shall be carrying fuel
gallons for the remote site where there will be no access of petrol pump. Routine
maintenance checks will be carried out to prevent vehicle breakdowns.
11. Emergency Response for Transportation
 Comprehensive emergency response protocols shall be developed and implemented
to address unforeseen incidents during transportation. This will be including factors
like training personnel in emergency procedures, equipping vehicles with emergency
kits, and establishing communication channels for swift response coordination. We
will be updating all the emergency situations to the NEA.
12. Incidents Monitoring and Reporting Plan
 A systematic incident monitoring and reporting plan to track and document any
disruptions or incidents during transportation will be implemented. Deploying
monitoring systems, such as GPS tracking, to gather real-time data on potential
incidents will be involved.
