fill out and return the form with your check or money order to Headquarters, at United Supreme Council, 33°,
A.A.S.R., PHA-SJ, USA, P.O. Box 16787, Memphis, TN 38186. The advance registration card must be completed and
payment received or postmarked by August 31, 2022. The Registration Fee will grant access to: one (1) Luncheon
Ticket, (1) Class Banquet, one (1) Entertainment Night Ticket, one (1) Registration Bag, and one (1) Registration
Lanyard. You may purchase a guest access pass for the Class Banquet for an additional fee of $75 and/or extra
entertainment night ticket for $25.

For your convenience, all meetings of the United Supreme Council shall take place centrally at the Hyatt Regency Jack-
sonville, 225, E. Coastline Dr., Jacksonville, FL. The Morning Worship Service and the Divine and Memorial Services will
be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022, in the Grand Ballroom 5-8. The Full Ceremonial Opening will be held on Monday,
October 10, 2022, in the Grand Ballroom 5-8.
ANNUAL BANQUET
The Annual Banquet is held in honor of the newly elevated Class of 2022. The banquet will be held in Grand Ballroom
5-8, on Monday, October 10, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. In addition to presenting the class, awards may be presented during the
banquet.

The dress for the banquet for SPs & GIGs is formal; After Six, Black Tuxedo (NO TAILS) with black accessories. The dress
for the Active members and Deputies attending the banquet is Black Tails with White Tie and with Collar Studs,
White Bowtie, White Low-Cut Vest, Black Dress Socks and Black Formal Shoes. Caps and Crowns are to be worn as
well. Please take notice that those not properly dressed will not be permitted in the processional.

CLASS MEETINGS
Grand Inspectors General of all grades who were elevated in the year whose last numeral is 2 or 3 are reminded that this
is the year of their Class Reunions and they are expected to attend the session. This is a special feature of our United
Supreme Council meeting each year. We are calling and depending upon your cooperation and participation. Classes
interested in holding reunions or meetings should contact Ill. Malcom Horton, 33°, Director of Class Reunions, by email

Understanding & Navigating the United Supreme Council: USC 101*


Abstract: The United Supreme Council is unlike any other Masonic entity. Its rules,
processes and membership are governed in an extraordinarily different manner than
Ancient Craft and York Rite Masonry. This session will delve into the United Su-
preme Council – Southern Jurisdiction: How it is operated; who are its members;
and, how its business is transacted.

A History of the United Supreme Council*


Abstract: We will take a look into the evolution of the degrees that created what is to-
day called Scottish Rite Freemasonry. The journey will include the winding history
of the Rite as it traversed the seas and continents to land in America. We will look
at how the Rite has changed and how the United Supreme Councils of Prince Hall
Freemasonry were birthed and reached its stage of regularity.

The Necessity of Making Degree Work and Lectures Interesting*


Abstract: The discussion will seek to encourage Fraters to delve into ritualistic and
presentation preparation delivery. We will identify what makes degree work and lec-
tures interesting and how to maintain the audience’s interest.

Ring Ceremony for Deceased Fraters**


Abstract: The ring ceremony for deceased fraters will be performed. The solemnity
of a vital portion of the Rites of a Grand Inspector General will be exemplified and
explained.

Benefits of a well-governed Commanders of the Rite **


Abstract: The discussion incorporates group participation for collective learning on
the topic of knowledge, skills, and abilities of members of the Orient’s commanders
of the rite. A brief explanation covering its history and uses, together with an intro-
duction to Orient level Eagles Clubs (Orients of Florida and District of Columbia).
The goal here is to reinvigorate resurrect dormant Commanders of the Rite on both
Orient and Local levels.

Regency - Mainstreet 2 to take their Official Photo. The Photographer’s Suite will be open from
8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturday through Monday. Please bring your robe, crown, stole, gloves
and Grand Decoration of the Order.

Additionally, all Active Members are required to have their Official Headshot(s) taken on Mon-
day evening, in St. John, at 6:00 p.m. For your Official Headshot, please be dressed for the Class
Banquet (Tails, Crown, Gloves and Grand Decoration of the Order).

(NOTE: An updated Official Photo and Official Headshot is required for publication in the Offical
Tableau.)

Medical Care Information


Health Tips for Annual Session Attendees
1. Remember to visit your healthcare provider before leaving home.
2. Make a list of emergency contact information, maintenance medications, medical condi-
tions, allergies and your Primary Care Provider’s name and telephone number. Please
bring and keep this information with you at all times.
3. Be sure to bring your medications (in bottles), with you, both prescribed and over the
counter. If they need refrigeration, be sure to check with the hotel when you make your
reservations.
4. If you need dialysis, a wheelchair, a motorized scooter or other services, be sure to make
arrangements for these services prior to the Annual Session. DO NOT wait until the last
minute.
5. Our medical Clinic will be opened from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. on the scheduled days of the con-
ference. In case of a health emergency after these hours, please contact the hotel front desk
or call 911.
6. As in all things, prepare yourselves accordingly. Although Annual Session is in October, weath-
er and heat conditions can be unforgiving. Remember to hydrate and if necessary, bring sun-
screen.
7. If planning to take advantage of the sightseeing tours being offered, be sure to wear comfort-
able shoes as these tours may be somewhat physically demanding.

The United Supreme Council takes seriously the real dangers involving exposure to
COVID-19. Therefore, each member, candidate and guest is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED
to get vaccinated prior to attending this year’s Annual Session. To further protect our mem-
bership, those attending the Annual Session will be required to wear a mask during all
functions. Failure to wear a mask will result in denial from entry to activities. Masks Are

Session COVID Safety Protocols

Greetings:

The United Supreme Council, 33° is fully aware; and takes seriously the dangers involving exposure to the COVID-
19 virus and its several variants. The protection and safety of our members, attendees, leadership, and staff is our
top priority. In advance of your travel to Jacksonville, Florida, we wanted to provide an update on the health and
safety protocols that all attendees must adhere to during this year’s session. Please read the following information
in full. Highlights on new testing or proof of vaccination requirements are detailed below.

• The wearing of a facemask is REQUIRED at all times during the 136th Annual Session (unless actively eating
or drinking). N95 facemasks are preferred. Facemasks and hand sanitizer will be made available to all
members if needed.

• Prior to onsite registration or checking in at the United Supreme Council, 33° designated registration desk,
you must visit the “COVID-19 Check-In” station in City Terrace 11.

o 2022 KCCH Investiture Nominees - You must also visit the “COVID-19 Check-In” station (City
Terrace 11) and then proceed to the designated meeting room for KCCH Nominees.
o Candidates for the 33° - You must also visit the “COVID-19 Check-In” station (City Terrace 11)
and then proceed to the designated meeting room for candidates. Please DO NOT stop at the
Registration Desk.

• The United Supreme Council will require attendees of 136th Annual Session to provide proof of one of the
following:

o A Vaccination card showing full current vaccination and/or booster status against COVID-19 (at
least two weeks after final dose for vaccination or booster), or,

o Negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid test result, administered by a medical professional and taken
within 72 hours of check-in at this year’s session.

• Session prescreening will consist of a current COVID-19 Self-Assessment Questionnaire with a


temperature check either by automated monitors or by a handheld device. Those with temperatures above
100.4° F / 38° C will be evaluated for COVID-19 and will not be allowed into the session.

o All members and attendees will be required to complete a copy of the COVID-19 Liability Waiver
and Statement of Understanding. You must also present a copy of the COVID-19 Self-Assessment
Questionnaire each day at the COVID-19 Check-In station as a part of the daily screening process.
o If you answer “YES” to any of the “Symptoms”, “Contact”, or “Temperature” related questions
on the COVID-19 Self-Assessment Questionnaire, you will not be permitted into the session and
will need a negative COVID-19 test and normal temperature to be admitted the following day.
o A wristband will be issued to all members (daily) to show that you have successfully completed
the medical screening process. NO WRISTBAND, NO ENTRY!! A wristband is also required to
register onsite or to pick up credentials at the Registration desk.

• Temperature checks will be required anytime you leave and return to any of the designated “General
