Equipment List

Zoom H4
The zoom H4 is used for us to record audio from
an external mic which we will be connecting via a
XLR cable at the bottom of the zoom.

XLR Cable
The XLR Cable is connects to the Zoom and the Microphone. It is connected to the Zoom to
record audio from an external source e.g. the microphone. This allows us to record clearer
audio depending on the microphone used. We can also get a better audio range using a boom
pole to extend where the mic is.

Sony X70
The Sony X70 is the camera we are using for our project. It offers a large range of settings to
adjust lighting and the video type it records. It has a connecting part on the bottom to attach to
any compatible stand. For example, a tripod or shoulder mount.

Rode Boom Pole

The Boom Pole is the bit of equipment we will be using to record sound to get larger ranges of
audio from a variety of distances.

Tripod
The tripod is used to hold the camera still and control it via an arm for static shots and smooth
pans compared to free hand.

Camera Batteries
The batteries keep the camera charged so we can use it for filming. We will have
extras in case the first dies or is already low battery
