Materials: fruits and vegetables
flashcards, I like and I don´t like
flashcards, ½ plate, red paint, green
paint, black crepé balls, glue, brushes.
Presentation: We begin our activity
by showing the kids the fruits and
vegetables flashcards and we name
them. Introduce “I like…” and “I don´t
like…” phrases.
Practice: We invite the kids to
identify in which category the
different flashcards can be grouped.
Then they name the colors of the
different elements of the flashcards.
Production: We ask the kids to say
the names of the different elements
shown in the flashcards.
*If any of the kids can write, have
them write the names of the colors.

flashcards, transportation flashcards,
food flashcards, red and green circles.
Presentation: We begin our activity
by showing the kids the different
flashcards.
Practice: We invite the kids to play a
game using two colors, red and green,
that we´ll play outside. On one end of
the playground the teacher stands with
the red circle on one hand and the
green circle on the other hand. At the
opposite side of the playground the
kids wait for the instructions. When
the teacher says “green” and shows the
green circle, the kids can walk towards
her, but when she says “red” and
shows the red circle, they have to stop
and freeze. The game continues until
one of the kids reaches the teacher.
Production: We ask the kids to say
the names of the different colors
shown in the flashcards.

Presentation: We begin our activity
by showing the kids the different
flashcards.
Practice: We invite the kids to
observe the mat that has different
colors on it and name them. Then, we
show them some fruits and vegetables,
and they have to match the color of the
fruit or vegetable to one of the colors
of the mat. When they are finished, we
play the colors bingo.
Production: We ask the kids to say
the names of the fruits and vegetables
and the colors.

syringe, sugar, spoon, water.
Presentation: We begin our activity
by showing the kids the different
flashcards.
Practice: Then we invite the kids to
explore the colors through an
experiment. We add some water to the
4 cups. Then we add sugar (the first
cup only one spoon of sugar, the
second one 2 spoons of sugar, the third
one 3 spoons of sugar and the fourth
one 4 spoons of sugar) and we mix it
until the sugar dissolves. The we add
colorant to the cups, all different
colors (red, blue, yellow, green). The,
with the help of a syringe, in an empty
glass, we add some water from the cup
with 4 spoons of sugar. Next, we add
some water from the cup with 3
spoons of sugar. Next, we add some
water from the cup with 2 spoons of
sugar. And last, we add some water
from the cup with 1 spoon of sugar.
Production: The kids name all the
colors we used in the experiment.
