Introduction
OMNI GROUP Pvt. Ltd. offered me this amazing opportunity under their hospitality sector for a wonderful
internship. Working practically in the corporate world made me realize that every hour spent in the company
provided me with a valuable level of experience, which cannot be expressed in words. Nonetheless, all these
experiences were beneficial to my career. I did my internship at OMNI GROUP OF HOTELS from 24th June 2023
till 10th August 2023. This paper covers the topic of "TRAVEL AND HOSPITALITY GONE DIGITAL."
OMNI GROUP OF HOTELS is a hotel chain of their parent company- omni group Pvt.Ltd. it is a hospitality
company which basically focuses on hotel management. All the Staff and the employees were professionally helpful
and friendly. During the initial stage of my internship I was given an orientation of their company and the services
provided by them, and my doubts were cleared on the first day of the internship. Though the work was challenging,
it was also quite interesting. With my limited knowledge and expertise, I tried my hardest to make this report as clear
as possible and to present real-world experiences on paper.
The topic is "TRAVEL AND HOSPITALITY GONE DIGITAL". During the course of this internship, I conducted
deep research, studies, and analyses, and formulated surveys and strategies for the hotel part and created a research report
on the digitisation of hotels and resorts related to travel while also conducting market research on our competitors.

while providinganenvironment conductive to efficient business operations with pleasure. Well furnished exquisite rooms, restaurant, banquet
& conference rooms blendedwith prompt services and cooperativewell trained staff leaves its guests withafeeling of comfort,
satisfaction&provides a great value for money.
The Indian travel and hospitality sector continued its steady growth with 15.6 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) rise in Foreign Tourist Arrivals
(FTAs) and 20.8 per cent y-o-y growth in Foreign Exchange Earnings (FEEs) during 2017.01 Further, in 2017, the travel and tourism sector
was estimated to directly contribute to 25.9 million jobs and INR5,141.1 billion (USD75.8 billion), to the country’s Gross Domestic Product
(GDP). Growing disposable incomes and the rise of millennials as the ‘chief wage earners’, who account for 47 per cent of the working age
population, were the key drivers for this rapid growth.05 In addition, the proliferation of smartphones, Internet and technology-driven tools
and platforms is acting as a catalyst for speedy digitisation of the travel and hospitality sector. Digital transformation in travel, Rise of the tech-
friendly Indian traveller and the tools and technologies driving it.
The hospitality industry is a broad group of businesses that provide services to customers. The industry can be broken down into three basic
areas: accommodations, food and beverage, and travel and tourism. All of these areas are customer-focused, but they sometimes provide
different levels of service.The role of the hospitality industry is to provide unique, professional, and memorable experiences for consumers
during their free time, at a cost. The focus of the hospitality industry is the customer and giving them the best experience possible. The
hospitality industry relies on the national economy to be successful.

Conclusions
In the course of our internship for the last semester the field, I got the opportunity in the hotel
industry which is one of the most important components of the wider service industry, catering
to customers who require overnight accommodation. It is closely associated with the travel and
hospitality industries, although while my study period at the Omni hotel, I got a deep insight
about the industry wherein its not just management of the hotel, its more behind the stage show,
which plays a crucial role, that at last makes the retail outlet able to attain successful sales figures
and develop customer loyalty with time. The experience at the hotel is all together great, since its
daily something new and have to handle such a huge customer base walk-ins, with pace and
maintain trust, so its all together a different and worth the grind. At last I would like to thank
our mentors at SUAS, for letting us work in this adverse time and attain exposure and
knowledge, skills of working out of it.
