The Morning Surprise

Simpang Batu, Tuesday – A villager found a big snake in Kampung Cincin here
yesterday. Ramli Ahmad, 68, said he was walking towards his farm behind his house
when he saw the slithery animal across the path at about 6.30 in the morning.

“ I was curious at first, not knowing what the object was from far since it was
quite dark. When I got closer, I saw a big snake and it could hardly move,” he said.

" I was shocked to see it lying and did not move," he added.

Ramli then called a few neighbours to catch the seven-metre-long snake.

However, it died shortly after. Azmi Jufri, Ramli's friend and also neighbour called the
firefighter to take the snake and buried it. It is known later that the snake was the animal
which ate the animals in Ramli’s farm since last Wednesday.
