Teaching Assistantship, Biological Oceanography Lab
• Assisted St. Mary’s College of Maryland biology professor, Dr. Brownlee, in preparing materials and

4-15.
• Studied and communicated knowledge of Maryland’s Natural History such as local Ornithology,
Botany, and Aquatic Biodiversity of the Chesapeake Bay through collaboration with Maryland
Naturalists.
• Surveyed and recorded data on Monarch Butterfly eggs and Milkweed Plants for the “Monarch Butterfly
Larva Project” (Citizen Science Project).
