Research Methodology final project outline

(ILO 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2)

You are required to form a team of a maximum four members. The team should
conduct a research and introduce the findings in a 20 minutes’ presentation and
present a written report about the topic. Each member should at least contribute at
least 5 journal articles. Supplementary and interactive materials and tools may add
to your presentation. Citing examples is mandatory in presenting the topic. You are
required to integrate the outcomes of your readings in one presentation. Your
presentation and supporting articles should be presented as a hard and softcopy.
The outline should include the following:
1. Introduction:
The students are expected to give an introduction about the chosen topic and
background information.
2. Literature Review:
Past literature related to the chosen topic and discipline while integrating it with
the study at hand.
3. Research statement:
Deriving a research problem/statement for the research.
4. Research objectives:
Stating the objective behind research this area/ topic and what this research is
expected come up with
5. Research Questions:
Formulating research questions in order to address the issues of concern in the
research
6. Research Design:
Discussing the design of the research; type of investigation, time horizon, degree
of interference of the researcher
7. Research Variables:
Explaining the variables that are used in the research.
8. Research Model:
Develop and illustrate the theoretical framework used in the research theoretically
and verbally.
9. Research Hypotheses:
Forming hypotheses concerning the type of relationship the variables have.
10.Questionnaire Design:
Design a questionnaire for the data collection that emphasises the issues of
concern.
11.Data Collection and Sampling:
Decide on the sample size, sampling frame and sampling unit while justifying.
12.Data Analysis and Findings:
Use SPSS to analyse the collected data and report the findings with elaboration.
13.Discussion:
Discuss the results and summarising the outcomes of the study
14.References:
A list of references used in the study.
