list of clients support with unbottling the very complex spectrum of challenges facing companies
manufacturing locally in Nigeria and across Africa. PDIC support clients to meander the complex
manufacturing regulatory, fiscal, monetary and export policy landscape of Africa.

We are looking to hire qualified professionals to join our team to fill the following positions:

1. Social Media Manager


2. Pharmaceutical Specialist (Lead)
3. Food Technologist (Lead)

1. Social Media Manager


Budgeted Salary for Position: N185,000 – N200,000 per month
Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria / Remote Working

Job Summary
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for bringing social media initiatives to life through
project management, content creation, excellent copywriting, social media monitoring, and reporting
on the effectiveness of the strategy. The successful candidate should have a strong and intimate
knowledge of the social media landscape, strategic initiatives, content development, and writing
creative copy. The Social Media Manager must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment,
be a self-starter.

Duties and Responsibilities


You will be responsible for:
▪ Developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies to achieve business goals.
▪ Managing all company social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn,
and YouTube.

▪ Creating engaging relevant content for social media posts, ensuring alignment with brand voice
and messaging.
▪ Monitoring social media trends, industry news, and competitor activity to identify opportunities
for growth and innovation.
▪ Analyzing social media performance metrics and preparing regular reports to track progress and
inform strategy adjustments.
▪ Engaging with followers, responding to queries in a timely manner and monitoring customer
reviews.
▪ Suggesting and implementing new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and
competitions.
▪ Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Cosmetics, Food Technology, to
integrate social media initiatives into broader campaigns and initiatives.
▪ Staying up-to-date on best practices and emerging trends in social media marketing, current
technologies, design tools and applications.

You should have:


▪ Proven managing experience as a Social Media Manager, managing corporate social media
accounts, preferably in Manufacturing.
▪ Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
▪ Creative thinking skills with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
▪ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
▪ Ability to express company’s views creatively.
▪ Hands on experience in content management.
▪ Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).
▪ Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.
▪ Knowledge of online marketing channels.
▪ Working knowledge and industry experience in planning, managing, and executing social media
initiatives.

Qualifications and Competencies required:


▪ Must possess Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or Communications, or related field from
accredited tertiary institution.
▪ A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience working in social media or content creation
space for a brand or agency.
▪ Must have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and inspire team
members.
▪ Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
▪ Must have excellent copywriting skills.
▪ Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
▪ Ability to think on feet, plan and prioritize work by deadlines.
▪ Ability to organize work schedules on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
▪ Ability to multitask and deliver desired performance outcome.
▪ Ability to use creative ways to resolve problems at the workplace.
▪ Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
▪ Familiarity with web design and management.
▪ Proficient in social media tools and Apps.

2. Food Technologist (Lead)


Budgeted Salary for Position: N250,000 - N300,000 per month
Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria / Remote Working

Job Summary
The Food Technologist is responsible for assessing and improving the safety, quality, and nutritional
value of food products. This role involves researching, developing, and testing new food products, as
well as improving existing ones to meet regulatory standards and consumer preferences.

Duties and Responsibilities


You will be responsible for:
▪ Leading the development and optimization of new food products, from concept ideation to
commercialization, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
▪ Conducting research and experimentation to identify ingredients, formulations, and processes
that enhance product quality, taste, and nutritional value.
▪ Overseeing sensory evaluations and consumer testing to gather feedback and insights for
product refinement and improvement.
▪ Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
throughout the product development process.
▪ Providing technical support and guidance to internal teams and external partners on food
technology-related matters.
▪ Staying informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and consumer preferences to inform
product innovation and strategy.

You should have:


▪ Proven work experience as a Food technologist/Scientist or similar role.
▪ Strong knowledge of food chemistry, ingredient functionality, and food processing techniques.
▪ Proven ability to work in a laboratory for long periods of time.
▪ Ability to work on new food products from conceptualization to launch.
▪ Experience with food safety systems and regulatory requirements.
▪ Knowledge and understanding of data science.
▪ Experience working in a food production environment.
▪ Passionate for food science and technology.
▪ Ability to develop innovative food products.
▪ Ability to stay up to date with industry trends and innovations.
▪ A team player with a customer-oriented approach.

Qualifications and Competencies required:

strategic plans for pharmaceutical products or therapeutic areas, in alignment with company goals
and regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities


You will be responsible for:
▪ Leading and mentoring a team of pharmaceutical professionals, providing guidance and support
to ensure successful project execution and achievement of business objectives.
▪ Overseeing the development and implementation of strategic plans for pharmaceutical products
or therapeutic areas, in alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
▪ Collaborating cross-functionally with research and development, regulatory affairs, marketing,
and other departments to drive product development and commercialization efforts.
▪ Staying current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that may
impact pharmaceutical products or therapeutic areas.
▪ Representing the company at conferences, meetings, and other industry events to enhance
visibility and build strategic partnerships.
▪ Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and company policies
throughout the product lifecycle.

You should have:


▪ Proven work experience as Pharmaceutical Specialist or similar role.
▪ Strong knowledge of drug development processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best
practices.
▪ Strategic thinking skills with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive innovation and
continuous improvement.
