1. Scientific Investigation
Long-term Health Studies: Investigations on the long-term impacts of genetically modified organisms
(GMOs) on human and animal health.
Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) have generally been shown to be just as safe as non-GMO foods
in long-term health research. Numerous studies, including those conducted by the National Academies
of Sciences and independent researchers, have been thoroughly reviewed and meta-analysed, but no
consistent evidence of health hazards has been identified in relation to GMO intake.
Environmental Impact Studies: Examining how GMO farming affects biodiversity, non-target species, and
soil health, among other ecological issues.
Labeling Requirements: In order to empower customers to make educated decisions, many nations have
made the labeling of genetically modified products necessary.
Educational Campaigns: Initiatives led by NGOs, government organizations, and academic institutions
that seek to inform the public about genetically modified organisms (GMOs), their advantages, and their
hazards.
A. IPM, or integrated pest management: GMOs and conventional farming methods combined to reduce
pesticide use and increase biodiversity.
B. Coexistence Strategies: Formulating policies and procedures to guarantee the coexistence of non-
GMO and GMO crops free from cross-contamination.
