6306 Course title: Economic Analysis of Law

This report is to supplement the assessed rubric (which provides a basic breakdown of
the various aspects of the research paper) that you should be able to view via HKU
Moodle.

First, the marks for both the 80% research paper and the 20% class participation is
given via the median of the grade (i.e., 87 for A, 82 for A-, 78 for B+, 74 for B, 71 for B-).
The reason is that it is splitting hair to try to differentiate within a grade.

Second, as mentioned in class, given the constraints on class participation in the zoom
format, your class participation grade will match the grade of your research paper as a
matter of default. However, active class participation will be appropriately rewarded with
a higher grade, save where the research paper grade is higher than the supposed class
participation grade.
