ANARCHISM
 Belief in the abolition of all government and the organization of society on a
voluntary, cooperative basis without recourse to force or compulsion.
 It is an ideology holding all forms of governmental authority to be unnecessary and
undesirable and advocating a society based on voluntary cooperation and free association
of individuals and groups
LIBERTARIANISM
 Another version of anarchism but involves the government in a minimal role such as
ensuring safety of everyone and fairness in whatever contracts or dealings.
MARXISM
 Proposed by Karl Marx
 It examines the effect of capitalism on labor, productivity, and economic development
and argues for a worker revolution to overturn capitalism in favor of communism.

CONSERVATISM
 Commitment to traditional values and ideas with opposition to change or innovation.
 The holding of political views that favor free enterprise, private ownership, and socially
traditional ideas
FACISM
 A political system headed by a dictator in which the government controls business and
labor and opposition is not permitted.
Ex: Germany (1933-1945) under Adolf Hitler
Italy (1922-1943) under Benito Musollini
FEMINISM
 The advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes.
 All genders having equal rights and opportunities. It's about respecting diverse
women's experiences, identities, knowledge and strengths, and striving to empower all
women to realize their full rights.
LIBERALISM
 A political and social philosophy that promotes individual rights, civil liberties,
democracy, and free enterprise.
 The belief in freedom, equality, democracy and human rights.
SOCIALISM
 A political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means
of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the
community as a whole.
