I am Ahmed. I am twelve years old. I am in grade six. I live in Cairo. I love Cairo. I love
traveling and adventures. I love the famous adventurers. My favorite adventurer is
Marco Polo. I love him so much. He was an Italian explorer. He traveled to many
countries. He was one of the first people from the West to visit China. The journey to
China was very long and difficult , but he could do it. He wrote his travel diary , too.

"Nok". It is an amazing village. It has many sculptures under the ground. It is really a

" The Gobi Desert "

I am Ahmed. I am twelve years old. I am in grade six. I live in Cairo. I love Cairo. I love
adventures. I love traveling across the desert. I love the Gobi Desert. It is very
fantastic. It has a lot of sand dunes. They are like yellow waves. They are very
fascinating. The local people called the Gobi Desert " the dry sea " in their language.

A dairy about " A felucca on the River Nile "

25 December
Today , I had an amazing experience. I went on a felucca on the River Nile. A felucca is
a traditional Egyptian sailing boat. It is made of wood and it has two white sails. It is
a lovely way to travel ! I did a lot of interesting things during the day. In the morning ,
I caught many fish from the Nile. In the afternoon , I had a delicious lunch on board
the felucca. I saw many amazing things. I saw the Pyramids. They were very huge
amazing. The stones were the color of gold. In the evening , I played traditional music
on the oud. What a lovely day ! I enjoyed a lot and had such a fantastic experience !

‫ في الصباح‬.‫ إنها طريقة جميلة للسفر ! فعلت الكثير من األشياء الشيقة أثناء اليوم‬.‫من الخشب وله شراعين لونهم أبيض‬
‫ رأيت أشياء كثيرة‬.‫ تناولت وجبة غداء لذيذة علي ظهر الفلوكة‬, ‫ بعد الظهيرة‬.‫ قمت بإصطياد أسماك كثيرة من النيل‬,
‫ عزفت الموسقي التقليدية‬, ‫ في المساء‬.‫ األحجار كانت بلون الذهب‬.‫ كانت ضخمة ومذهلة جد ًا‬.‫ رأيت األهرامات‬.‫مذهلة‬
! ً‫ ياله من يوم جميل ! استمتعت كثير ًا ومررت بتجربة رائعة حقا‬.‫علي العود‬
