 AMAOCEAN DAILY FLO ACTIVITY REPORT

1. Summary of the day’s activity:

• Today the 5th of March, and in the framework of FLO sensitization campaigns Dakhla port, FLO
team initiated the work in the port by reaching out all departments and concerned sections with
official letters followed by discussion concerning the up-coming cable maintenance operation
by the cable vessel ILE D’OUESSANT in Dakhla waters.
• Mr. Governor also got informed about the nature of operation and its characteristics FLO
shared profoundly.
• FLO had a meeting with some fishermen and gave them general idea about the nature of the
operation.

2. FLO team / Fishermen interaction:

• Mutual sense of understanding between FLO, some fishermen and boat owners regarding the
information dispatched by FLO team.

3. FLO team / port authorities’ interaction:

• The feedback FLO team received today from most port authorities’ departments was pleasing.
• FLO team reported: “ all authorities’ departments expressed their sincere appreciation to our
service and confessed that they trust our awareness approach in regards to the daily
sensitization waves.”

4. Fishermen Feedback:

• They showed a sense of understanding.

5. Watch boat update:

• Reda 4 W.B. is under advanced preparation for the surveillance mission, taking weather changes

6. Recommendation / To do next

• FLO team to lead a heavy awareness wave in the port.
