Chapter 1
Introduction
Objectives
To develop a system that reduces energy consumption by at
least 30% compared to traditional air conditioning units
through the implementation of smart controls and
optimization algorithms.
To ensure that the E-Zone system maintains consistent and
comfortable indoor conditions by automatically adjusting
temperature and airflow based on user preferences,
occupancy patterns, and environmental factors.
Enable users to remotely monitor and control their air
conditioning units from anywhere via a user-friendly mobile
app, allowing for real-time adjustments, scheduling, and
energy management
To ensure compatibility with leading smart home ecosystems
like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit,
enabling seamless integration and voice control alongside
other smart devices in the home.
Implement data collection and analytics features to provide
users with insights into energy usage, system performance,
and cost savings, empowering them to make informed
decisions for further optimization and efficiency
improvements.

Limitation
The system's limitations include potential compatibility
constraints with older or proprietary HVAC systems, initial
investment costs that may deter some users, and dependency on
internet connectivity for remote access. Additionally, factors such
as environmental conditions and privacy concerns underscore the
need for ongoing maintenance, robust security measures, and
user education to optimize system performance and mitigate risks
effectively.
