Our beautiful Guyana, filled with great verdancy and astonishing sceneries, is divided into four

natural regions. Our focus today is the enticing Interior Savannah. In this essay we aim to vaunt
about the several tourist attractions spread all across this region, ranging from ravishing
mountain ranges to the diverse wildlife permeating its luscious lands. Not forgetting the rodeo
which is nonpareil to all other Guyanese celebrations.

Seeking to appease the daily stresses of life? Well, the Dadanawa Ranch is one of the oldest,
largest and most remote on Earth, the perfect place for a getaway. Teeming with native species
such as jaguars and giant anteaters, shooting ranges, horse trails and adventure parks, this ranch
is ideal for a secluded outing with loved ones or simply a solo pursuit for tranquility. Moreover,
their amiable, servile staff mainly consists of Amerindians and vaqueros.

Next, viridescent, serene and mesmerizing, the Kanuku Mountains encompass more than six
thousand square kilometers of the vast savannahs, along with rock formations rising up to one
thousand, three hundred meters, and waterfalls. The mountains are not only a prominent tourist
destination because of their picturesque landscape, but also because of their high biodiversity.
The mountains are home to the Dwarf Caimans, Giant River Otters and the Yellow-spotted River
Turtles, as well as Arapaimas and the Harpy Eagle, among others.

Yet another reason why the Interior Savannah is the prime vacation spot is the hosting of the
Rodeo which is the greatest and most anticipated event in the Rupununi Region. This promotes
an influx of both local and international tourists into the area to enjoy the experience of a
lifetime. From bull riding to horse racing and the barrel race along with beauty pageants, this
place has it all! Wouldn’t you rather spend your Easter weekend filled with exhilarating activities
and engrossing shows than the customary kite flying? In addition, this grants parents an assured
chance to relax without worrying about their progenies growing uninterested.

In culmination, having been an audience to a cogent argument, we hope you are now heartened
to visit the utopian Interior Savannah including its mountain ranges, ranches and rodeo. One
