Biography
Mother Teresa was born in August 26,1910 in Skopje, the capital of the
Republic of Macedonia to Albanian descent parents .Little is known about
her early life, but at a young age, she felt a calling to be a nun and serve
through helping the poor, this also meant she did not have any children. At
the age of 18, she was given permission to join a group of nuns in Ireland.
After a few months of training, with the Sisters of Loreto, she was then
given permission to travel to India. She took her formal religious vows in
1931 and chose to be named after St Therese of Lisieux, the pat. Mother
Teresa experienced her "call within a call" in 1946. Her order established a
hospice; centers for the blind, aged and disabled; and a leper colony.
She later died on September the 5th 1997 in Kolkata

Why We believe Mother Teresa deserves
To be known as a good steward
A Steward is a person who manages the affairs of God on earth. Mother Teresa
should be known as a steward because she has helped poor and differently-
abled people tremendously during her life, and the work is still being carried on
by her disciples. She was a humble down to earth woman who helped people in
need and offered her help for free. We rarely did appreciate such an individual
but when she is getting the honor she clearly deserves, it is wrong to deplore
her.
