Introduction
MarCOOKseason

The word “budbud” Derived from the Visayan term meaning "to roll," each budbud is a
testament to centuries-old techniques and a dedication to quality. Crafted from glutinous rice and
infused with the creamy richness of coconut milk, our budbud is a harmonious blend of flavors
(cocoa, ube, and pandan) and textures. Traditionally wrapped in banana leaves and carefully
steamed to perfection, every budbud embodies the essence of Filipino comfort food. Whether
you savor it as a snack, dessert, or a moment of indulgence, each bite promises to transport you
to the heart of Filipino culture

 To serve customers with a good quality flavored sticky rice.
 To ensure the costumers satisfaction by the uniqueness of our product.
 To promote indigenous flavors from our neighboring province to the new era.
 To discover new procedures with efficacy in making the product.
 To offer affordable and native delicacies to the market.

Executive Summary

MarCOOKseason is a food booth located at the elementary field in Kabankalan Catholic College
and will open during the School’s Intramurals. We, the student entrepreneurs from Grade 12
STEM Wisdom, will offer a unique delicacy that is made from coconut milk, glutinous rice,
sugar, salt, ginger, flavors (cocoa, pandan, and ube), wrapped in banana leaf. This product aims
to promote indigenous and native flavors to the market which will meet their food preferences,
specifically budget-friendly foods. Moreover, MarCOOKseason is expected to catch the interest
of our consumers, especially the students and employees of the school.

the intelligence and insight needed for entrepreneurship. They're hardworking, approachable, and
have developed a solid business plan to guide their operations. With their combined efforts,

expertise in business matters ensure that customers can trust them to help them acquire the

Target Customers, Market Value Proposition, Market and Product Offering

Target Customers

Our primary target market will be people of all ages who enjoy native delicacies

portioned into smaller sizes to meet their needs for a quick but delicious snack that can be

consumed anywhere and at any time of day. First and foremost, children who enjoy sweet treats

will appreciate the sweet and savory ingredients in each bite. Second, teenagers looking for a

shareable dessert during hangouts such as picnics, beach outings, or road trips. Third, adults
looking for a quick snack in the morning, afternoon, or even as a late-night indulgence will find

our suman rolls to be the best option with just the right amount of sweetness. We also target food

enthusiasts who enjoy discovering and enjoying new and atypical culinary delights. Wherever,

whatever, and whenever they are, they will undoubtedly find comfort and delight in our suman

rolls.

Market Value Proposition

First of all, our product has the amazing flavor of local and traditional desserts with a

twist. It is lovingly and meticulously handcrafted using the highest quality ingredients, such as

freshly extracted coconut milk wrapped in newly collected banana leaf. Second, you can have it

anytime of the day as a dessert or snack. Thirdly, hot chocolate drinks, freshly brewed coffee,

your favorite flavored juice, or any soda go exceptionally well with our suman roll. It

complements neither hot nor cold beverages. Finally, it offers you the epitome of simplicity

because, despite its simplistic appearance, its flavor will undoubtedly capture your taste buds.

Market and Product Offering

Glutenous Rice 2 kg
Coconut extract 1-2 cup
Salt 1 tsp
Ginger 2pcs
Sugar 2 kg
Flavors (Chocolate, Ube, & Pandan) 2-3 tsp

Procedures:
1. Measure out the amount of rice you'll need, wash it, then add water again to cook.

2. Place in a separate pan and season with salt and ginger.

3. Wait for the rice to cook.


4. Remove from heat and discard the ginger. Set aside for now.

5. Wash banana leaves and then pat gently with a towel.

6. Cut the banana leaves into 10 × 5 in pieces. Heat both sides of the banana leaves over low

heat on the stovetop and then set aside.

7. Heat up a large pan, then add your coconut milk, sugar, and add the flavoring.

8. When the mixture has completely dissolved, add the cooked rice and mix.

9. Transfer your cooked rice mixture into different plates.

10. Scoop 1 spoonful of the rice mixture into the prepared banana leaves and spread it out int

o a smooth form approximately 4-inches or to the desired length, then add your filling.

11. Roll the banana leaf over the mound of rice, then fold the sides. Continue until you've roll

ed all of the suman.

12. Rip strings from the extra banana leaves and tie the suman shut. You can tie them

individually or in pairs.

13. Place into a shallow steamer pot and add enough water to where it’s touching the suman.

14. Once the suman is done, remove it from the steamer and allow it to cool until easy to

handle.

15. Unwrap the suman and serve. Enjoy!

capital. According to Loth (2022), Capital Structure describes the mix of a firm's long-term
capital, which is a combination of debt and equity. Capital structure is a type of funding that
supports a company's growth and related assets. Sometimes it's referred to as capitalization
structure or simply capitalization.
Furthermore, a company that uses contributed equity capital helps to avoid any repayment
obligations related with potential debt. Furthermore, this supplies the finances required for the
company's expansion and operations. It contributes to better reputation and strategic efforts that
allow the company to maintain financial stability and expand prospects.
