Materials:
1000 mL beaker
Tripod
Alcohol burner
Stirring rod
Cooking Oil
Powdered colored chalk
Piece of Styrofoam
Rubber gloves
Safety goggles

Procedure:
1. Using a paper funnel slowly pour 2 tablespoons of powdered colored chalk
into the beaker.
2. Slowly pour 400mL of cooking oil into the beaker.
3. Prepare the tripod and lit the burner.
4. With the cue of the teacher, place the beaker on the tripod and observe the
movement of the materials below.
5. Place 2 pieces of Styrofoam on the mixture. Observe what will happen.
6. Illustrate your observation.
