POSITION: BACKEND ENGINEER

I. Job Responsibilities
• Design and develop APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Maintain existing projects.
• Collaborate with Frontend engineers and other team members to
establish objectives, design and implement new features, enhance the
user experience.
• Troubleshoot, identify root causes of issues, and provide solutions to
solve the problems.
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability for systems.

II. Job Requirements

• Graduated from university in Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experiences and have knowledge in Backend
development with the following:
o Java (8+), Spring Boot, Spring Security.
o Maven

 o ORM (Ebean/JPA/Hibernate)
o Database: MySQL / MongoDB
o RESTful API
o OAuth
• At least 1 year of experience with the following software(s):
o Git
o GitLab
o IntelliJ IDEA / Visual Studio Code
• Having working experience of the following will be great advantages:
o Microservice Architecture
o GraphQL.
o Memcached / Redis
o ActiveMQ / Kafka
o Containerize (Docker , Kubernetes / K8s)
o Cloud platform such as AWS

III. Relevant skills and knowledge

• Good team-working and communication skills.
• Can basically communicate (writing, speaking) in English.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and complete
tasks in a timely manner.
• Strong logical thinking abilities
• Attention to details
• Good organizing, communication, analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Strive for learning new technologies and continuously self-improving
