⚫ Established on Aug. 26, 1951 by the late Msgr. Gabriel M. Reyes, the first Filipino archbishop of Manila, the church is now the second biggest parish in Tondo, consisting of 44 barangays. ⚫ On September 6, 1946, Msgr. Michael J. O’Doherty, D.D., became the 27th Archbishop of Manila until ⚫ his death on October 13, 1949. He then witnessed how Manila became heavily devastated during the Second World War. ⚫ Citing Canons 1427 and 1428 of the old Code of Canon Law and in view of the sufficient number of inhabitants (30,000), the archbishop declared to separate and dismember from the jurisdiction of the parishes of Tondo, Gagalangin, Espiritu Santo and Trozo in order to erect the Immaculate Conception Parish at 287 Tayuman St., Tondo, Manila. OUR LADY OF MONTSERRAT ABBEY ( NEO-GOTHIC INTERIOR ) ( BAROQUE EXTRERIOR ) located inside the campus of San Beda College in Mendiola, Manila In the 19th century, several anti-clerical governments in Spain took measures to suppress the many monasteries there. If they were not closed outright, communities were forbidden by the state to accept new candidates, with the goal of letting monastic communities die out. With time however, exceptions were made for monasteries which would operate in the far-flung regions still a part of Spain's once mighty empire, primarily the Philippines. Abbey Of Our Lady Of Montserrat is located inside the campus of San Beda College in Mendiola, Manila. It was built by the Benedictine Order in 1904. The church was devoted to "Santo Niño de Praga" and was consecrated on January 13, 1926. The cornerstone was laid on February 15,1925. Benedictine Father Lesmes Lopez and Brother Salvador Alberich made its artistic decorations and paintings. GOTHIC ARCHITECTURE

Central United Methodist Church is the first Protestant church in the Philippines, located along T.M. Kalaw Street, Ermita, Manila. Founded on 5 March 1899 during the American Occupation, it was originally named Central Methodist Episcopal Church. is a main temple of the Philippine-based Christian religion, the Iglesia ni Cristo. Located along Commonwealth Avenue corner Central Avenue in Quezon City, it was completed on July 27, 1984, and is the biggest church/place of worship in the whole country for all religions as per the dimensions are concerned with a capacity of around 7,000 people.
