1. ADD variable into A2L

Step 1:open the ASAP2,You can see it like this picture

Step 2：select the file to open the a2l which you want to edit,then open it

After open

Step 3：select the tools——>Load Map file then chose the elf which you need
After load

Step 4：Right click the name of the MAP file and select the show search can help you
to find the variable which you need

After search
 Select the create parameter to add the variable then save it

2. Change the variable type

Select the convert into,then you can change the variable type

3. Change the variable value range

First you choose one variable like picture
Then into the physical display ,you can change the upper to change the value
range of variable

Last ,you need save it
