MANU/DEOR/188575/2022

IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI

W.P.(C) 1816/2022
Date of Order: 04.11.2022
Appellants: Dimple Kaul
Vs.
Respondent: Union Of India and Ors.
Hon'ble Judges/Coram:
Yashwant Varma, J.
ORDER
CM APPL. 47368/2022 (Impleadment) This application is thoroughly misconceived. It
cannot possibly be disputed that the corporate entity already stands arrayed and
represented in these proceedings. There was thus no occasion for the present
application being moved. The law does not require either the key managerial personnel
or the majority shareholders of a corporate entity being arrayed as party respondents to
a cause.
In view of the above, it shall stand dismissed with costs quantified at Rs. 25,000/- to be
recovered from the petitioner and deposited with the Delhi High Court Legal Services
Committee within a period of three weeks from today.
