I INSPECTION
A. OBJECTIVE
This method statement is prepared to describe the procedures for the installation of LV, HV
Panels and Transformers.

B. SCOPE
This method statement applies for the project to transfer 2.7 MW Solar Power from the
refinery car parking shades to the waste water treatment plant substation requiring new MV
infra structure to link the Smart Solar Station to the Waste Water Treatment Plant.
C. DOCUMENTS REFERENCE.
• Physical check of the panel appearance, the components such as Relays, Meters,
Switches, Fuses, CTs, Breakers, Bus bar sizes etc shall be verified against the approved
materials, submittals and approved lay out.
• All installation shall be carried out according to the approved shop drawing for the
panel.
• Minimum clearance of 800mm shall be maintained at the rear side of the panel, so
that easy access for termination of cables and other maintenance works can be carried
out.
• MV Panel shall be installed in accordance in the manufacturers recommendations,
approved site lay out and as per the site requirement.

F. HOUSE KEEPING
The working area will be kept clean & tidy at all time during the execution and upon
completion of work.
G. INSPECTION
The Project Engineer will raise the inspection request to Petra Solar for inspection and
certification of the installation. Prior to the Petra Solar inspection, the site supervisors shall
inspect the installation to ensure the compliance of specification and drawings. Upon receiving
the approval from the consultant/client the cables shall be connected.
