work in his library. Elias first visited him and told him that Maria Clara was sick and that if he had
anything to order, it would be Ibarra because he was going to Batangas. Lucas next visits him, teasing
him about the money his family will get because of his brother's death. He said they could only be
friends with Ibarra if Ibarra paid a lot of money for his dead brother.
