Activity#1 ALL ABOUT LINES

1. What is a line?

The line object is the most fundamental and widely used item in AutoCAD drawings of all disciplines.
Each segment is a line object that can be changed independently, with characteristics such as layer, line
type, and line weight assigned.
2. What are the classifications of lines according to:
- structure?

In geometry, there are different types of lines such as horizontal and vertical lines, parallel and
perpendicular lines.
- position ?

Straight lines are classified into three types: I Horizontal lines: Horizontal lines are lines drawn
horizontally. Vertical lines: Vertical lines are lines that are drawn vertically. Oblique or slanting lines:
Oblique or slanting lines are lines drawn in a slanting position.
- weight or grade?

They are heavier than hidden lines, dimension lines, center lines, and broken lines. As we shall see later
in the chapter, blueprint drawings often contain different solid line types that are not object lines.

Please draw and define each kinds/types of lines.
