Chapter 10 – Perimeter and Area

Perimeter- The length of the boundary of a polygon or the distance around the polygon

is called a perimeter.

Perimeter of a polygon = Sum of the length of the sides of the polygon

Unit of perimeter is same as the unit of the length (Unit of the sides of the

given figures)
