SET UP ITEM CONTAINER RELATIONSHIP

PURPOSE
Shipping items must be linked to a container. Quantity per Container (QPC) is
established using the item container relationship form. Shipments will not process
without the QPC.

SCOPE
This work instruction describes how to link an item number to a container and set up the
QPC.

REQUIREMENTS
The following are required to define a customer cross reference:
1. Item Number
2. Container Item number
3. Quantity per container.

Create Item Container Relationship

Navigation:
Define Container Item Relationship

 The Container-Item Relationship form displays

1. Enter Item Container Number in First Item Field

a. The container item must be set up as an item in the master org and the
plant org.
2. Enter the Item Number in the Second Item Field
3. Enter the QPC in the Maximum Quantity Field

4. Click Save
