Preface
“Oh that man would praise the Lord for his goodness,
and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For
he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of
iron in sunder.” Psalm 107:16
G od the father has a purpose for every creature

including you and it can only be fulfilled in
freedom.
No matter how intelligent a man is, he can not fulfill any
tangible purpose in bondage. No!
Freedom is the only state mind and existence which

supports destiny fulfillment.
That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out

of the hand of our enemies might serve him(**fulfill
destiny) without fear,” (KJV). Luke 1:74
A man can be educated, married and even procreate as

much as he could in bondage. The Israelites did all these
in Goshen, the land of Egypt where they were enslaved
for 430 years. Plants and animals in zoological
confinements also do!

But no one can either be a channel of blessings or fulfill

purpose in bondage. None!.
Destiny fulfillment is only possible in the freedom

offered by the precious, unblemished blood of Christ
Jesus
! Psalm 68:18 “Thou hat ascended on high, held

captivity captive and given GIFTS unto men…
Therefore, for everyone with a tag to fulfill destiny but

in bondage, there is a need for you to be delivered from
the power of darkness by the ultimate power vested only
in Christ Jesus.
However, with deliverance comes responsibility because

the hosts of hell contending with every child of destiny
are highly organized spirits, highly strategic in spiritual
warfare, well informed, diligent, good fighter, relentless
and indefatigable in nature because they are fallen
angels with corrupt wisdom.
And the dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the
Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth (no one without an
iota of wisdom could deceive another) the whole world;
he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast
out with him. Revelations 12:9

With these attributes, if defeated in a spiritual battle,

they have a mindset to reorganize and recapture their old
victim.
For this reason, we can say; that you’re once free does
not mean you're free forever. Freedom must be sustained
only by offensive warfare not defensive (to be defensive
at war is suicidal and destructive) otherwise, a man
freed today would soon be recaptured by worse enemies
and the end might be worse than before.
For the purpose of sustaining deliverance enacted by the

shedding of the blood of the lamb (Christ Jesus), his
death on the cross at Calvary and his resurrection, the
Lord has put guidelines in place for his children to
remain in perpetual freedom.
Envisioned and directed by God, led by the Lord Jesus

Christ and inspired by The Holy Spirit, this book is
written to provide guidelines on the kind of life to live
after your freedom.
Whether you just gave your life to Jesus Christ or you

have just been delivered by the ultimate power of God
from sickness, obsession, oppression or spirits that
possessed; this book is for you.
Therefore, I encourage you to prayerfully read, digest

and apply the content of this book to your newly found
life of liberty in Christ Jesus daily and I am sure you will

Holy Spirit who vomits the content of this

WHAT HELD ME BOUND?
M an, at creation was made in God’s image of

freedom. This is because he (God) wants him
(man) to dominate the whole earth without
exception in the spirit of freedom.
But there’s one act that would rob man of his God
given dominion and send him in humiliation into
bondage; DISOBEDIENCE!

Therefore, in other to prevent man

A question that readily comes to mind is; how did

the freedom robber get there since it was God that
planted the garden of Eden by himself? Could he
have been the one who planted the freedom robber
close to his own image?
Revelation 12:7-13 answered all these questions by

showing us how the devil was defeated in a battle in
heaven and was cast down into the earth ever before
man was created.
Therefore, this shows us that the devil (darkness) in

Genesis 1:2 got to this earth before man, readily
positioned to rob him of his divine endowment.
John 10:10 “For the thief commeth not but for to

steal, to kill and to destroy”

Unfortunately, despite being forewarned, man

carelessly allowed himself to be robbed Genesis 3:6-

Oh freedom!, precious freedom, an express image

of God was stolen from man through disobedience.
But the question is; does the devil need this

freedom?. NO!
He just doesn’t want man to have what he(Satan)

had lost. He knows that if the freedom is taken from
man, dominion to rule would be lost then he can
take man himself from under God’s liberty into
bondage.
Disobedience led to man’s fall when he decided to

taste the devil’s bait.
The fall resulted to loss of man’s precious freedom

(soul) into Satan’s hand including the earth.
Once in captivity, man became a tamed beast,

yielding only to the devils will. Next, man began to
manifest the devil’s will through his thoughts and
actions upon the earth and the resultant effects;
nakedness, shame, curse, loneliness, diseases,
sorrow, death and other manifestations of the devil
fastened themselves upon man to destroy him.

his seed of bondage and destruction so that he would
be held bound in affliction forever!

The Devils Anointing (Anger)
While the Holy Spirit is God’s anointing for destiny

fulfillment, anger is the devil’s anointing for destiny
destruction.
Genesis … revealed Cain as the first man anointed

of the devil to kill his brother Abel and commit
murder. This singular act made Cain to be labeled
with curse which turned him to be fugitive forever.
When the devil anoints you with this demonic

anointing, you become bound, you sink and stink!
On several occasions, I have heard people say

“everyone has a trace of anger in him”. To this
statement, I said; no! It is a demonically fabricated
lie from the pit of hell that was carefully
programmed into human’s mind which
unfortunately is being passed on from generation to
generation. Let it be known to you today that anger
is not an attitude neither is it programmed by God
into the DNA of any man. Genesis 1:27 and 2:7
both of which gave a detailed account of man’s
creation did not mention anger as part of the
materials God used in making him.

Psalm 139:14 says ….I am

Proverb7:9says“anger resteth in the bosom of

fools.” You become a victim when you, knowing
fully well that you're in a constant spiritual battle
with a relentless sworn enemy carelessly let down
your guard. That’s suicidal and you can be sure that
captivity, humiliation or death will be the result.
Anger is the devils anointing and its major
assignment is to put you in Satanic bondage.
According to Isaiah 10:27 “and the yokes shall be

destroyed because of the anointing**of the Holy
Spirit**”, anointing of any measure is a spiritual
weapon which can either be used to defend, to attack
or to destroy. In other words when you allow anger

to take hold of you we can paraphrase Isaiah 10:27

to mean; “and the yoke shall be fastened because of
the anointing of the devil(anger)”
Anytime you allow anger to rest on you the Holy

Spirit who doesn’t struggle to possess a man
immediately step aside because you’ve
automatically given the devil a legal ground to
operate. At this stage you will become susceptible to
the arrows of the enemies and they will really
penetrate to wound and poison you. After that
moment of anger, the next
time you check your life, anointing of any
you’ll just discover that measure is a spiritual

that there is never an outburst without a build-up and
no flame without a spark. This way, you can easily
discover when anger wants to burst out from you
because it must first build up in your soul. While it
is building up, wisdom demands that you arrest this
storm that doesn’t want you to fulfill destiny. Douse
the evil flame that wants to put you in perpetual
bondage of Satan. Don’t allow the devil to use you
and abandon by making up your mind not to allow
the devil to destroy you through his evil anointing.
Curse
Curse is another spiritual factor that holds a man

bound. The first encounter of man with curse was
mentioned in Genesis … .Here, God himself laid
curse on man and the serpent for their acts of
disobedience and evil.

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us
meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints
in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of
darkness and hath translated us into the kingdom of
his dear Son.
Colossians 1: 12-13
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his

benefits:
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction;
Psalm 103: 2,4
Y our soul is a reservoir that must never be

empty. It must always be filled with the oil of
gladness that flows through the garment of praise.
"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give

unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for
mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of
heaviness; that they might be called trees of
righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he
might be glorified." Isaiah 61:3

If you are not thankful you can not be souly tank

full.
Fullness precedes an overflow.
Also, because your journey into a new life in Christ

requires the fuel of grace for you to fare well and to
finish well, you need to be grateful. If you are not
grateful you can not be grace full. The bible is
replete with admonitions to be thankful
1 Thessalonians 5:16 rejoice evermore
1 Thessalonians 5:18 in everything give thanks: for

this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning
you.
You ever wonder why Paul kept on instructing these

people to give thanks? It is simply because they
were once held captive by the devil but when they
received Christ as their savior, the need to live a life
of praise to remain in freedom that Christ gives
becomes inevitable.
The writer of Psalm 118 quickly engaged himself

with praise immediately the almighty God delivered
him. What a wise decision! Your soul is

No wonder king David was ever triumphant. Despite

all the assaults the devil launched against him. He
never lost any battle. He defeated the host of hell
and rest in peace leaving behind a good legacy and a
prosperous kingdom.
In fact this life of thanksgiving makes David to be

declared as a man after God’s own heart. He found a
place in God’s heart.
Psalm 34:1 Revealed David’s lifestyle of praise

when he said;” I will bless the Lord at all time, his
praise shall CONTINUALLY be in my mouth.
Praise keeps a man in constant contact with the

almighty God because praise to God is what water is
to fish. He dwells in praise.
Now that you’ve caught a rhema on the positive

spiritual implications of thanksgiving through
praise, for the next 5 minutes, I would like you to

…let us LAY ASIDE every weight, and the

N ow that you're delivered from the bondage of

the enemy, mark the following and cut off
totally from them.
Evil Relationships
Mark every relationships that you keep while in

captivity or before entering into captivity. Make a
detailed evaluation and spiritual analysis of these
relationships and see if they are sanctioned by the
word of God as written in the scripture. Otherwise,

cut yourself off from such relationships

permanently. Else, they’ll lead you back into your
past sorrow. As it is written in Romans 16:17“Now I
beseech you, brethren, MARK THEM which cause
divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine
which ye have learned; and AVOID THEM”. It
could be friends or relatives that gossip, rebel,
murmur and complain against ordained authority.
Whichever it may be, they are all gangs that lead a
man back into his former bondage like the Israelites
who selected a leader to lead them back to Egypt;
the land of bondage and affliction from where they
were once delivered. Ex….
It doesn’t matter how anointed these fellow are, the

scripture who described them in Hebrew 12:1 as
weights and sins says you should lay them aside
before they bring spiritual misfortune to you again.
“It takes guts to leave the ruts”, also, you may need
to cut off from friends and associates or boss that
drinks, hang around bars with strange ladies, walks
or drives around questionable places late at night.
Cut off from them!
Unhealthy Feeding Habit
Your own may be to cut off from poisonous junks

that brought that sickness into your life. Don’t use
your own hands to administer poison unto yourself

demonic ceremonial foods.
Jesus Christ said in Matthew 18:8-9Wherefore if thy

Immediately after deliverance of any form, the next thing is

to be filled with the Holy Ghost. This is because:
i. Now, your soul is empty because the former

occupant had been dislodged

you are still empty
iii. If you remain empty, your former captor will
come back with seven (7) demons that are more
wicked to possess you and make your life worse.
iv. You need the holy spirit for effective and
victorious Christian life (Prayer, bible study,
social life, marital life, official life, parenting, etc)
v. You need the Holy Spirit for exploits.
You just can not do without him.

(God) would do it(Imagine, God delegated
responsibility, though it is in the power of his hands
to do all things.) later he filled man with ideas. He
kept on filling him because he knows that emptiness
could be disastrous. Psalm 68:19 says: “Blessed be
the name of the lord who daily loadeth us with his
benefits”. That is why you must know that at
deliverance, you are emptied of all demonic
inhabitants, set free, translated to a new life and on
your way to destiny fulfillment in Christ Jesus. At
this stage, your soul needs another infilling.
Jesus Christ revealed why a man should be filled

after deliverance in Matthew 12:45 When the
unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh
through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none.
Then he saith, I will return unto my house whence I
came out; and when he is come, he findeth it
EMPTY, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and
taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked
than himself, and they ENTER IN AND DWELL
there: and the last state of the man is worse than the
first.”
The soul of a man hates and can not withstand being

empty because it is divinely designed by God to be
filled always. A void could therefore be disastrous.
An empty soul is at the mercy of demonic spirits

who are looking for a place to inhabit because an

idle mind is the devil’s workshop. For this reason
the scripture instructed us to be filled with The Holy
Spirit always otherwise the demonic stranger that
was once forcefully ejected will soon be back with
seven more stronger and wicked spirits to torment
and destroy.
To be filled with the holy spirit;
i. Be not drunk with wine (Alcohol). It is not for

kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink
wine, nor for princes strong drink.
It is a trap set by the devil to destroy destinies
because If you say you won’t drink much,
once a shot touches your tongue you become
bound to it and your soul begin to ask for
more. King Ahasuerus in
Esther 1:10 made a costly mistake when he
was intoxicated with wine (Alcohol) which
resulted to him divorcing his wife.
Wine (alcohol) is not for kings because. “wine
is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and
whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.”
Proverbs 201:1.
You are a king because the scripture says so.
In
1 Peter 2:9 says: “But ye are a chosen
generation, a royal priesthood, an holy

nation, a peculiar people, that ye should shew

forth the praises him who hath called you out
of darkness into his marvelous light:
ii. Sing Psalm and hymns and spiritual songs. It
doesn’t matter how melodious a circular
music is, the popularity of its singer and the
sales of the album, don’t subscribe to it!. It
will not add anything to you spiritually.
iii. Sing always and make melody in your heart
unto the Lord only. It is not difficult to sing.
Is it ?
For me, if this act will make me to be filled
always with the Holy Spirit then, I will
painstakingly make it a part and parcel of my
life.
Since communication is a dialogue, when you
speak to the lord he will in turn speak life
unto you.
“I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for
he will speak peace unto his people, and to his
saints: but let them not turn again to folly.”
Psalm 85:8.
Now, with this book in your hand begin to
sing praises unto the Lord for at least 15
minutes and you will see what joy will fill
your heart.

voluminous textbooks on academic subjects of their
career, devote time to surf the internet, find time to
visit and settle down to watch movies at cinemas for
long hours with time to read listen to news and read
papers but alas! they become lazy and feel
nauseating, sleepy or tired whenever they try to

study their Bible. Forgetting that their declaration to

make Christ Jesus their Lord and saviour had made
them to be the worst and sworn enemy of Satan.
You are in a constant lifetime battle with the enemy
and your only sure weapon that will guarantee you
resounding victories is the word. Hebrew 4:12 “For
the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper
than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the
dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints
and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and
intents of the heart.

T emptation is a link between freedom and

bondage! Even God was tempted by the devil..
A careful study of the book of Job 1:11 But put forth
thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he
will curse thee to thy face. Shows how Satan
tempted God to afflict a righteous man so that he
will be able to bring accusation against God. But
glory be to the one who knows the end of a thing
from the beginning. He quickly discerned and turned
the game round on the devil to do it himself.

most important spiritual exercise you must engage
yourself in after deliverance.
Undoubtedly, when we pray in sincerity according

to the word of God, heaven stand at attention to
capture our request and the Lord has no option than
to grant us answers.
Endeavour to pray in sincerity unto God anywhere,

everywhere, everyday, every moment. Let your
liberated soul be in constant communion with God.
Engage him and he’ll engage you. When he does
that mysteries will be unraveled, your permanent
freedom will be guaranteed and divine directions
will follow so that you will not again enter into the
snares of the fowler.
In prayer, God will begin to work in you both to will

The devil can not pray! Whom will he pray to ?. He

in charge and at liberty is prayer because a man that
prays always is a man that is in charge always.
This shows that if you make prayer a one-off thing

then you will seldom be in charge but if prayer is
your lifestyle then you’ll always be in charge.
If you don’t pray, you will always easily fall prey

into the devil’s hand
It’s quite unfortunate that most Christians of today

have time to go to work, chat, visit and merry but
seldom pray. The time scheduled for prayer is
minute. in other word their prayer life is
malnourished!. Therefore, you see them dwell in the
land of freedom today and return to the land of
captivity tomorrow.
Jesus Christ; the greatest deliverance minister that

ever walked the surface of this earth said in his word
that you ought to pray always and not to faint so that
you will not enter into temptation. This is because
prayerlessness is a link between freedom and
bondage.

SUBSTANCE
When you honour the lord with your substance

either materially or bodily the devil can never have a
place to stay either in you, beside you or around
you. This is because the Lord whom you honour will
directly be in charge of all that concerns you. The
strangers will fade away, the god of this word
(devil) will not be able to whistand your blessings
and you yourself will be a channel of blessings to
your generation at large because it is written “where
there is Spirit of the Lord there is liberty”
TESTIMONY
Honour the lord with the testimonies of your

deliverance. Go and tell other of what God has done
for you.
Testimonies of God’s deliverance encourages others

to believe and trust the God who alone can do all
things. It strengthens brethren’s faith and glorifies
the name of the Lord.
Honoring God with your testimoniesdivinely keeps

you on overcomer’s side.

out and delivered him, it was with a purpose: to
bless the whole world through Christ Jesus that

long a Christian is expected to be filled with the
Holy Ghost. Continuous!
Remember, what keeps a turbine turning to generate

a constant supply of light is a continuous in-flow of

Sustain The Hotness
Another name for Satan is Beelzebub (Lord of flies

that flies will perch on any surface and deposit

This shows that, a continuous contact with the Holy
Spirit keeps us turning to run the race set before us
so that we will continue to generate light that keeps
us heated and spiritually hot thereby preventing us
from demonic afflictions.
Eternal bliss with Jesus should be your focus and

target and this can be achieved by following Jesus
like a zombie without losing focus.
Do The Work
