In reference to Tender No. RailTel/Tender/NR/Project/Signalling/Cable/21-2/28, the following
Corrigendum is issued:

1. Chapter-3, Clause 3.8.7 (Page 17-18 of tender document) is clarified as under:

PVC formula for 12 CORE x 1.5 Sq.mm Signaling Cable
Firms are advised to quote their ratesbased on prices, as per IEEMA publication ofBasicPrices of
raw materials prevailing as on 1working day of the month of October-2021 (Cir. No
IEEMA(PVC)CABLE (R-1)/10/2021 (REVISED) issued date 03.11.2021).
P PO +0.157(CU - CUo) +0.277(CC-CCo) +0.289(FE - FEo)
P=Price payable per KM as adjusted in accordance with PVC (in Rs./MT)
Po- Price per KM of cable as per Purchase Order
Cu F=Variation factor for Copper (0.157)
Cu= Price of Copper wire rod in Rs./MT.
Cuo- Price of copper in Rs./MT (as per IEEMA indices)
CC F=Variation factor for PVC compound Grade CW-22 (0.27)
CC-Price of PVC compound in Rs./MT.
CCo Price of PVC compound CW-22 in Rs./MT (as per IEEMA indices).
FeF= Variation factor of Steel flat (0.289).
Fe=Price of steel for armouring {flat 4 mm X0.8 mm } in Rs./MT.
Feo- Price of steel for armouring in Rs./MT (as per IEEMA indices)
CU, CC &FE are the prices of raw materials as applicable on first working day of the month, one
month prior to the date of offering the material for inspection.

Note: Firms invariably should quote as per the PVC formula and base month as given above:
offers from firms quoting PVC with different base month or formula will be summarily rejected.

2. In continuation to Corrigendum-1 and 2, the following clause is added to Corrigendum-l:

) "Firms appearing on the upproved list of RDSO for the endered item shall be exempied jor
submission of EMD subject to approval status of the firm being valid on the date of tender closing.

3. The Tender opening date is extended upto 09-02-2022 at 15:00 hours
