1 Low electrical energy consumption

An air conditioning unit that uses the Inverter system operates within a wide
power range, meaning that the revolutions in the compressor change arbitrarily.
The combination of improved operation of the heat exchanger and compressor
together with the microcomputers in both units contribute to the additional
energy savings. The air conditioning devices maintains a constant temperature
with operation at one half, or even one third of power, also with the ability to
decrease compressor revolutions without turning off and restarting the unit again

“I FEEL” FUNCTION
Ensures temperature control where

The sensor built into the remote control detects the
temperature of its environment (only with devices that
include the “I feel” function). Its function is to transmit
the detected temperature to the internal unit of the air
conditioning device which operates until the temperature, set
on the remote control, is reached. This operation enables an
ideal “microclimate” in the area where the remote control is
located.

When cooling (or heating), the remote control detects if the temperature in the room
is higher (or lower) than the temperature set. Because of temperature fluctuation, the
remote control transmits a signal to the internal unit of the air conditioning device to
warn that the room has not been sufficiently air conditioned (heated). This process
repeats itself until the desired temperature is reached in the proximity of the remote
control.
EQUALIZING TEMPERATURE
Generally room temperature differs depending on
the air conditioning unit’s location. For example,
the temperature at ground level is 23°C, while the
temperature at the level of the air conditioning unit,
above the unit and beneath the ceiling is 25 °C. With the
function of equalizing temperature differences, these can
be eliminated (only with air conditioning devices that
include the option of equalizing temperature).
If we set the desired temperature to 23°C, an air
conditioning device with the function of equalizing
temperature differences will set the desired temperature
to 25°C at the unit level, thus ensuring 23°C at ground
level.

flap and therefore the airflow is directed in such a
manner that the cold air flows horizontally from the
air conditioning device and descends to the floor due
to lower density. This procedure enables fast cooling,

In the heating mode

the lamella-flap is open in order to enable the flow of
hot air vertically and direct it to the floor. Since cold
air stays at the floor, this technique enables a fast and
equally spread heating of the room.

an authorized service provider and the device has undergone regular check-ups by the Coolwex
Company.

Standards, Technical and Technological Standards of the European Union that ensure safe usage
of the devices. Coolwex’s devices are certified by the CE, Eurovent, UL, SAA and SASO.
Installation, Servicing and Maintenance

The professional installation and maintenance of our air conditioning units are signs of quality
as well as safety and reliability.
Installation
When a Coolwex air conditioning device is purchased, we will provide its installation. We have
assembled a highly qualified, fast and experienced team of experts, which includes more than a
hundred experienced and skilled teams throughout Slovenia, other EU countries and Croatia.
Servicing
Thanks to 18 years of experience, we have learnt that skilled expert servicing is especially
needed during the summer months, when the air conditioning devices perform at full capacity.
In order to avoid unpleasant situations during the summer months, we suggest regular
maintenance and servicing of the air conditioning unit.
Maintenance of the air conditioning devices
Some tasks regarding the maintenance of the devices may be carried out by you, i.e.: cleaning or
exchanging certain filters. The regular check-up, however, should be done by professionals.
Before the beginning of the season they will annually perform:
• cleaning, emptying and disinfecting the internal and external units

• inspection, cleaning and exchanging dusty, electrostatic, biologic or plasma air purifiers
• inspection of gas quantity in the system, adding some if necessary
• inspection of the cooling system, electronic and remote control performance
• cleaning and testing the condenser’s drain
• an overall performance test of the air conditioning device
