Congratulations to the graduates of Batch 2024!
Today marks a significant milestone in your lives, a day filled with
pride and a sense of accomplishment. This is a joyous moment to celebrate
your hard work, perseverance, and sacrifices.
Your graduation ceremony marks not just the end of a chapter, but
the exciting beginning of a new one. A chapter where you, the Filipino
youth, will play a pivotal role in building a stronger future for a New
Philippines. The theme of our gathering today, "Filipino Youth: Building a
Stronger Future for a New Philippines (Kabataang Pilipino Para sa Matatag
na Kinabukasan ng Bagong Pilipinas)," reverberates deeply. It reminds us
that the future of our country rests on your shoulders. Likewise, it calls upon each one of you to reflect
on your roles and contributions as well as the new generation of leaders and changemakers in your own
right.
As you embark on a new journey, you will face challenges, but within them lie opportunities. You,
the graduates, are equipped with the tools to navigate these complexities. Your schools have instilled in
you the 21st century skills such as information, media and technology skills; learning and innovation skills;
communication skills; and life and career skills which are needed in tackling the challenges and in taking
advantage of the opportunities that lie ahead.
Dear graduates, you are the architects of the future of our beloved Philippines. A country that is
brimming with great opportunities. The responsibility to build a new Philippines lies in your hands. Be bold
in your pursuit for academic and character excellence. Let your actions be guided by capability, diligence,
and integrity. Be steadfast in your love for our country.
As you leave from the portal of your beloved Alma Mater, carry with you the knowledge and values
instilled by your teachers, the lessons and insights learned from your experiences, and the dreams you
hold for our nation. The journey is just beginning, and the future is yours to shape.
My warmest congratulations and sincerest gratitude to the teachers for producing once again
graduates who are equipped with the necessary and relevant competencies. Your dedication and
unwavering commitment to the growth of these graduates have shaped them into the individuals they are
today. Through your wisdom, hard work, and patience, you have not only imparted knowledge and skills
but also instilled in them the values of integrity, compassion, and perseverance. You have made a lasting
impact on their lives, and I am grateful.
To the parents, my warmest congratulations and felicitation. Your love, sacrifices, and unwavering
support to your children have been the foundation upon which have built their dreams. You have been
there through every triumph and every setback, offering encouragement, guidance, and unconditional
love. You have given to them the greatest gift of all: the confidence to believe in themselves and the
courage to chase their dreams.
