Introduction
I am David Munialo Wafula the writer of this information. Taking internship at Nakwangwa
MM in Masaba region of Elgon Esr Friends church Yearly Meeting (Quakers) in Trans-Nzoia
County. Certificate in pastoral Ministry. My internship takes a period of three months in the
year2024.

The purpose of the internship

My aim or reason for taking internship at Nakwangwa MM are;
To gain the ability, courage and spiritual personality of preaching the word of God.
To get spiritual enthusiasm of power praying.
To get used to how to prepare church members and programs to run in spiritual growth.
How to unite the church members and church and functions
To develop the church and etc.

One weekly journal

Because of logistics and implications, I do attend my internship after one week. Therefore, we
agreed with MM leader in position to be attending my internship after a week. I started on sunder
18/ 02 / 2024. Text was Luke 5:4-7. Bible study was the same book. The topic was launching
into the deep. Was preached by me.
On Wednesday 28/2/24 I attended Masaba Regional Meeting held at Nakwangwa MM. The third
one was on 3/ 3/ 24. Text was Exodus 14:13-14. Topic was standing firm in the Lord. Bible
study was Jonah 1:!-17. The preacher was Isaac Wepukulu Leader; Lily Muhindi.
The fourth one was on 17/3/24 was of USFW

While I was taking my internship at Nakwangwa MM. My supervisor on the ground was pastor
Jamini Sabuni.
The responsibilities and tasks were;
To preach the word og God.
To precide the speaker of the sermon.

In some occasion I as a listener and in visitations I preached the word of God from the book of
Isaiah 43: 1-4 and Injili no. 30
The challenges observed were;
There are few members, lateness, financially they are behind any target they expect. But
spiritually up. The require prayers. In order to coincide with them do or make slowly as they are.
Conclusion
Leaders are in their respective positions, basing on the table above, this is how they are
Vipawa- they are not good
Baptism – most of the members are only in first book
Catechism – most of the youth need catechism many of them are on wakifu. The pastor shouls do
this job.

They have financial problems and sicknes in their homes. Their offertory in most cases or
service never go beyond kshs 1000 (one thousand).
They are constituitionally affected because one village has only six members. Our yaerly
meeting constitution advices that, in order to form ……..10 house holds. Now the question is
who authorized them to have a village meeting. Otherwise in interplay may the grance
