‫عاشقی صبر طلب اور تمنا بیتاب‬

‫دل کا کیا رنگ کروں خون جگر ہوتے تک‬

Life is too short to love you in one
‫ غضب کیا تیرے وعدے پہ اعتبار کیا‬,

‫تمام رات قیامت کا انتظار کیا‬

‫اسے جگ میں ہر گز نہیں ہے قرار‬

‫جسے عشق کی بے قراری لگے‬

● metaphorical transformation of the heart into blood and liver

● heart, the centre of emotions

‫ہم نے مانا کہ تغافل نہ کرو گے لیکن‬

‫خاک ہو جائیں گے ہم تم کو خبر ہوتے تک‬

● agreement or understanding between two individuals not to be indifferent or

neglectful towards each other
● shared commitment or expectation not to be unaware of each other's feelings
or circumstances
● sense of helplessness
‫ضبط الزم ہے مگر دکھ ہے قیامت کا فراز‬

‫ظالم اب کہ بھی نہ روئے گا تو مر جائے گا‬

the unpredictability of life

‫پرتو خور سے ہے شبنم کو فنا کی تعلیم‬

‫میں بھی ہوں ایک عنایت کی نظر ہوتے تک‬

● everything in life has its fleeting existence
● poet's own existence
● sustained and meaningful until his loverz gaze at him ..
‫اِک نظر اور اِدھر دیکھ مسیحا میرے‬
‫ترے بیمار کو آیا نہیں آرام ابھی‬
● impact of love and the significance of being seen, noticed, or acknowledged
by the beloved
‫ُٹک میر جگر سوختہ کی جلد خبر لے‬
‫کیا یاد بھروسہ چراغ سحری کا‬
● essence of his being feels alive or meaningful in the gaze or attention of the
lover.
‫ایک دن تجھ کو اچانک یہ خبر آئے گی‬
‫تیرے بیمار شفایاب نہیں ہو پائے‬
